Guys… if $14,000 is a lot of money to you, I am sorry to inform you but you’re either a teenager or you’re living your life with questionable choices. You need to: (1) figure out exactly what you want from life (2) figure out what you love to do (generally speaking it is something you would do for free or delayed reward without feeling like it is work), that also allows infinite income potential (no cap on potential earnings). If you don’t know, then look around, or business. (3) identify the skill you need to accomplish #2 to an extremely high degree of success. Read or listen to the book called Mastery by Robert Greene. (4) commit your entire life to accomplishing mastery in #3 and using that to succeed in #2. The commitment must be absolute and unwavering, it should be your purpose for living. Ask yourself why you want what you want, and make that “why” the centerpiece of your commitment. (5) grow yourself. Every single waking hour of every single day you are living life to become a better version of yourself. That doesn’t mean you can’t eat ice cream and watch Netflix, it means you have to earn that right before doing so. You must work so efficiently and so hard at what you want that when you get tired you can relax wholesomely without a single inkling of a thought about any type of labor, responsibilities, or etc. When you are working, you do so without a single inkling of a thought about resting. You make this a ritual. Productive 1st part of the day, restful 2nd part of the day, every day. (6) rid yourself of all relationships with anyone who is not both better than you and works harder than you to succeed. If you are the most hardworking, you embrace the loneliness, and you do not allow people to suck you into their concept of what your life should be, you tell them you are too busy when they invite you to go out or hang out, because you really are… success doesn’t achieve itself. (7) every day and every week you consistently self-assess using brutal honesty with yourself. You use a journal to work with your goals, day by day, week by week, overcoming yourself and all obstacles through time. You always work two steps forward one step back. Then, you get everything you ever dreamed of in life. How do I know? Because I did it. It took me 5 years from being absolutely zero to fully successful (yes, and that includes financial wealth, time and locale freedom, happiness, love, spirit, and family). Note, however, that unless you change yourself and actually DO what you must, you will NEVER achieve success. Life doesn’t just give people money or freedom or whatever else, you have to fight for it, but it’s not someone else you’re fighting, it is yourself. Most importantly, EDUCATE YOURSELF ON HOW TO SUCCEED. This is your own responsibility and every single day you should learn something new about life and how to live it better. Time is ticking.
my Grandmother had a green Faberge egg she bought at a garage sale in 1972 she put it on her daughter's dining room nic nac shelf I haven't seen it since 😮😊 🌴💜☮️💜🌴
Reminds me of the story of a market trader from Peckham, London who picked up a timepiece in a house clearance and kept it in his garage for many many years believing it to be worthless. He went on to sell it at auction for £6.2mil and shared the money with his brother. He bought his uncle a yacht. Legend!
Sure. But anyone should be able to look at that and immediately know there isn't anywhere near 14k worth of gold there. And if you know even a smidgen about the value of truly antique, high end watch movements, you know instantly that it's not something to be melted for scrap. Someone says "Hey, I have a finely crafted piece of jewelry shaped kind of like an egg" - what's your first thought going to be?
@@user-rn3rn6nl3h You realize that jewelers and pawn shops buy scrap gold , then resell the scrap gold for use in new jewelry? This guy isn't dumpster diving. He's buying gold watches.
It was a watch. A gold watch, housed in a golden egg. Owner knew it was good which is why it had a $13,302 price tag. Buyer bought it, held into it for sometime until he discovered it was a missing Faberge egg.

@johnniethepom7545 I'm not sure how old you are, but in the '60s and '70s and maybe even into the '80s many motels and some hotels had the pink round top bed shakers that shook the bed for a quarter. In the mid '70s, he was clearing $50,000 a year with a route from Northern Wisconsin to Florida USA without a lot of work. He wanted me to get into the business but I was just out of high school and didn't have the $300 to invest in my first hotel. I think they lost popularity shortly after that because it has been a long time since I've seen them... but I don't frequent those type of hotels. BTW, he made his money by running and selling a beer depot and then wisely investing and not living like a high roller.
@johnniethepom7545 He tried to teach me fly-fishing, he called me his little fishing buddy. But there was one thing I wish I could have learned from him, to me was so much better than money, and that was his personality. He was the type that drew people to him just by being himself, I sooooo admired that and always wondered how he did it. I think, either you have it or you don't. It is a trait that can't be learned or taught. I've only met a few people in my life who have that, and he was one of them.
So for people confused, he did actually pay $14k USD for it. He was not looking for scrap at a flea market though, he was looking for high value items to flip at an antiques market, so having that kind of money is perfectly reasonable. The egg has a lot of gold, and contains a Vacheron Constantin watch inside (one of the major historical Swiss watchmakers), so even not knowing what it was $14k is a very reasonable price to pay.

True to her heritage, despite knowing she was going to make 10 times the asking price, she STILL beat him down to $8.00. No stereotypes…… 😅

Legends says if you've collected all the Seven Eggs, a Mystical Dragon will appear and can make one Perfect Wish once you've summoned it! But, after you've make your wish, the eggs will separate again and so does the cycle of treasure hunt begins anew for the next time that someone will find and collect all seven royal eggs!
Some people were questioning why he bought it for a whole 14,000 dollars, but going by what internet told me is gold's value ($66.39 per gram) it was actually quite appropriate. It had to be only a bit over 200 grams of gold for the price to be worth it purely for the gold. I also went a little deeper and turns out (according to Wikipedia) that the Third Imperial (the egg in question) was bought for $13,302 in a bric-a-brac market and its gold and gem contents had an estimated value of $15,000. So he had a nifty $1,700 estimated profit (althoug he got a little extra, I imagine).
At this point, I believe that at least a half of those eggs are not missing, but being hidden for some reason. The rest are more likely lost buried or something.
To be honest, I don't think you guys think of a Normal Flea Market... I think the man went to a specialised flea market, where you can sell second hand antiques that you think might have higher values (Like historical memorabilias from wars, etc.)... Most of these can be considered underground dealings... Though I am not sure I think prices are dealt by both seller and buyer... If the seller knows the detailing is worth 14K and the buyer acknowledges it to be worth of such then it is possible it is of that price. Besides the man went there to melt gold. Any Gold seller would be suspicious as to why the price is hyped that high, I mean if the man wasn't intrigued why would he pay that much? He could just move on to the next item with way more gold at cheaper prices. No, he knows it may be worth more than 14K. If not then Why would he have to spend time researching and looking for details about what he found? That is to be sure he ain't scammed and thank God he did or we'd be loosing another Faberge egg...
What a load of BS these Ai channels are getting out of hand and i hope UA-cam would do something about them making up there own stories and spent $14,000 at a Flea market to melt down and make $2,000 worth pf gold..SMH

It’s hurtful for what happened to this family.
this kind of thing is what happens when democrats/communists are allowed to take over a country
it is what they diserved !!
my Grandmother had a green Faberge egg she bought at a garage sale in 1972 she put it on her daughter's dining room nic nac shelf I haven't seen it since

Reminds me of the story of a market trader from Peckham, London who picked up a timepiece in a house clearance and kept it in his garage for many many years believing it to be worthless. He went on to sell it at auction for £6.2mil and shared the money with his brother. He bought his uncle a yacht. Legend!
I bought two antique chairs for $7 and combined they were worth over $1000. Sometimes you find a gem that most people completely ignore.
Ain’t no way in hell they spent 14k and were tryna scrap for gold 😭 it’s scrap for a reason
No body scraping has 14k, they would not be scraping if they did.
@@user-rn3rn6nl3h thats not true lol
@@1DS9 scrapers are not smart
@north over typically they are not, tho some people do it on the side, and make bank thru other professions
You will never find anything 0ver $100 at a flea market. If the seller knew it was worth $10,000 he would have sold it at an antic dealer
In the UK flea markets are more like outdoor antique shops, you aren’t getting anything for less than £50/£100 and there’s plenty of stuff that goes into thousands
@@chuckkiephan6880 clearly you’ve never been to one before
@@chuckkiephan6880 my daughter and I go to the huge flea market in our area sometimes when we’re bored and they sell real gold, diamonds, $4k dogs, vehicles, antiques sometimes up too $10k, etc..
@@chuckkiephan6880 what the heck is an antic dealer? 🤣
That guy sounds like my great-uncle. He would spend half a day putting a new hook on an old chain just to sell the chain for a dollar fifty at a garage sale. He died a multi-millionaire. And no, I didn't see a penny of it
My uncle fits this exact description as well
If you had spent some time with him , maybe he would have taught you how to become rich .
@@greggyp647 Did he teach you anything?
@johnniethepom7545 He tried to teach me fly-fishing, he called me his little fishing buddy. But there was one thing I wish I could have learned from him, to me was so much better than money, and that was his personality. He was the type that drew people to him just by being himself, I sooooo admired that and always wondered how he did it. I think, either you have it or you don't. It is a trait that can't be learned or taught. I've only met a few people in my life who have that, and he was one of them.
That's a fabulous happy story ❤ here's hoping the rest 0f find us something so good😅
So for people confused, he did actually pay $14k USD for it.
Legitimate dealers don't sell a high value piece in a cash and carry boot sale
@@vmcurry1, you would be surprised what's for sale at boot or flea markets.

Oh man and I thought I was lucky when I found one at a yard sale for a mere 50k and a reach around !!!
A MERE 14,000 DOLLAR?????
Considering its overall value it is pretty small.
Personally, I never go to a flea market with less than 25,000 dollars cash...Hey, you never know....

Those eggs are beautiful 😍❤️
I dated a half Jewish girl once whose wholly-Jewish mother loved finding Scottish jewelry from the early 1900s, and she would cruise the flea markets all the time looking for pieces. Once, she found a piece she knew for sure was worth at least $150 in a junk bin for like 15 bucks. True to her heritage, despite knowing she was going to make 10 times the asking price, she STILL beat him down to $8.00. No stereotypes…… 😅
My thoughts precisely......
Craftsmanship is on another level.
You only need look at buildings from 150+ years ago v todays rubbish that goes up to see how much crafts been lost to cheap & quick projects.
Not this claptrap again.
I went to flea market and met my wife, she later divorced me and made a fortune taking me to court.

“He bought the item at a mere $14000”
the following comment was removed for some reason:
i bought a book at a flee market. Kinda rare book.
From 1941.
It is about the Free Masons.
I bought it for 30 bucks.
Online i have found copies selling for 300 bucks.
Similar condition.
And i know of a book that was sold for like say 100 bucks when it came out.
It may be out of print, sure. And the price may go up because of that.
BUT considering that book is only 23 years old, i think the price went up because of what it basically shows. Not what it contains.
What it contains is a bunch of crazy drawings made by a bunch of people who call themselves artists. (might only have been 1 of the group who drew all of the stuff).
The book is 62 pages. Hardcover.
The cover is basically showing 2 sides of a building, and on the edge of the binding you can see something that those artists also made happen 23 years ago.
When it came out, 100 bucks or something like that.
But now you have to pay 10k dollars to own a copy of the 62 page book that i am talking about.
Anyone curious enough to know which book?i bought a book at a flee market. Kinda rare book.

Flea Market’s can be gold mines! Some folks just don’t realize what they have and what they’re selling!
Which 'flea' market and where.....????
Give details.!
Now that is an world wide Easter egg hunt 🤯😎🧲

But, after you've make your wish, the eggs will separate again and so does the cycle of treasure hunt begins anew for the next time that someone will find and collect all seven royal eggs!
Best comment ever 😂
I went to a flea market and brought a $70 dollar couch ! Took it home and found a $5 dollar bill a stick of gum and 3 porno mags ! WINNING !! 😂😂
Imagine being the person who sold it for $14,000.

Bro took Easter Egg hunting to a new level
I hope one day I will be rich enough to buy a Faberge egg, it's so beautiful
