What?? I didn't even know you could adjust the size of the latch. I bought two catches because my roof was not closing properly, and would leave a gap from the outside. My original latches are just fine, so probably if I had just adjusted them, I wouldn't need new catches... Well, they're on their way now and I guess it doesn't hurt to change the old catches, as they do look somewhat worn out.
Having issues with my top going all the way down, I believe the glass window was replace by the previous owner but I’m not sure how to get it down all the way...called Mazda and said it may be the spring tensioners over the phone but hard to know without bringing it in...it goes about 3/4 way down and gets stuck, glass doesn’t want to fold all the way down... I need the Kings help!
Hello Sir Kyle, Thank you for your concerns. This is a common issue with replacement tops. Some upper end tops have thicker material and are stiffer. To fold the top down when you reach the 3/4 point apply pressure down on the upper edge of the window to continue to fold the top down. Will become stiffer as the weather gets colder. i know it may be the wrong spot to ask, but seeing as how you practically own my miata, I've been having trouble with mine. once my engine is at operating temp, and i go to start it again after a stop at a store or at home it has starts and then has a complete rough idle for about 30 seconds and is gone. to try and fix it I've gotten under the hood, and i cleaned my egr valve, throttle body, air intake, master airflow sensor, pcv valve, and even changed my valve cover gasket. any opinions as to what i should do next? last resort is i change my head gasket, or buy new valves. so any help is welcome. can you help me out? :D

Get it hot so it will make the trouble.Start the engine, ruff idle then turn off. Take out the spark plugs and read themto diagnose your issue. Wet spark plug, to much fuel or not enough spark. +Mike MiataKing the spark plugs are good, gonna see if i can replace the wires, and maybe the coil packs next, the hardest thing about it is that then is no check engine light at all.and its a 2000 mazda miata automatic
