The structure of the new interior looks like a fusion between 11th's first interior and 12th's interior, with the classic interior white paint-job. I kind of like it. At least we have lots of round-things (roundels)!
Something that could be very possible is that 14 doesn't like Jodie's TARDIS interior design so gets the TARDIS to design a new one for him. Obviously this takes a while so while it's building the new console room, he can use one of the back-ups that the TARDIS keeps stored as we saw in "The Doctors Wife". His TARDIS interior was deleted in that episode but maybe he could use another past console room, or multiple in the specials. It would be quite cool if the TARDIS only finished the design once 14 regenerates into 15 and the last shot we see in the last tennant special is Ncuti walking into the new TARDIS.
David's TARDIS was actually taken down after the filming of the doctors wife.. and used a smaller replica in that was in the doctor who experience which is the one the used in day of the doctor.. so I think David's TARDIS is very much gone
didn't like seeing the full police box on the inside just because it felt too... TV set. It literally looked like they just put the police box against a wall as a doorway to another room. Ya know what I mean? Having it be just the door felt more impossible, and I loved that personally.
One interesting thing about this set is how modular it is. Lots of repeated sections that give the impression of complexity. It's only the console itself that's the most intricate. As such, it may actually be a lot more economical to make than might be thought!
It seems more like an operating room... I hope they tone it down a bit.... noone can comfortably handle that much bright indefinitely. Thanks for the video!!!
VERY reminiscent of the 2005 RTD run (which I think is the point) it's almost skeletal in a way, although the console's switches are lacking, which may seem better on screen.
It looks pretty cool. I can already tell it won't be my favourite console room ever but I love how big it is and the ramps are cool. I think the thing I dislike the most about is how white it is and how many roundels there are. I was always more into the darker colour tones like in Tennant's, Smith's first one, Jodie's and Paul McGann's. Particularly Smith's was my favourite though. It had this cosy, fairy tale esc atmosphere to it. It had so many layers and stairs and I loved how off centre everything was. It felt very quirky and I could just imagine all the different rooms and corridors in that Tardis. Shame we never got to see the swimming pool in the library. This Tardis is a fresh take which I appreciate. It's reminiscent of the classic interior look which plays on the whole nostalgia factor but it is also entirely unique at the same time. I think it will suit Ncuti well too.
I’ve never been a fan of the convention of tying the console’s rotor to a ceiling appurtenance that hangs above it but if it’s a thing that has to be done, this is how to do it!
On first look it's like a hybrid take on RTD's TARDIS interior fused with the 11th Doctor's with some late 80's thrown in. I do admire how outside the box the design is
I love the interior, but it seems a bit... blank? I mean, chances are the leak came before the paint job, but if not, I feel like Ncuti Gatwa's Brown/orange outfit will clash with the pristine grey and white feel of the interior. We'll see though, if this interior is to be Ncuti's or just David's. In the past I'd say that's unlikely for budgetry reasons, but then again, we're dealing with a Disney sized wallet here.
I'm loving this new interior and also uchi's costume which is reminiscent of 3rd dr's tweed suite and orange Cape. Swapped for a fuzzy jumper. Which I'm really liking. I think Tennants tardis will be still like 13 or his own original.
@@jeanlucharry I think they will. E using this new TARDIS interior for the 60th anniversary specials. That video leak, I think must have been filmed when the 60th anniversary was filming.
This is like the peak design of the Tardis that mix between Classic and morden era that we love. The design is very 4th Doctor mix with 10th and 12th. It’s looks too clean but hence we know David is 14th. 10+4 and this is what it’s looks like.
Not at all practical budget wise, but as an interim, an idea I'd have liked to have seen is a variety of the old Tardis sets used for Tennant's specials. Every time he entered the doors it would be a different console room each time he returned, a few selections of previous ones from throughout the series' history, and each would get a "WHAT?!!" from David. It would be like the' revisiting old faces' line from the 50th, as though the Tardis were shuffling the pack of options while it finally sorts it's self out for the reveal of the new version in Ncuti's season. I think the scale of the new interior is impressive, and whilst the additional support from Disney is clearly a factor in realising this latest vision, RTD is totally committed to keeping the UK the home of the series, and it's the fabulous success and massive expansion of 'Bad Wolf's studio facilities, which were already in place, that have (quite literally) allowed the new series to think even bigger. With six stages, the largest being almost 25,000 sq feet and nearly 60ft high they can take on any challenges. With RTD at the helm again the writing and continuity is in safe hands, as long as there are imaginative writers the adventure looks set to be really thrilling ride.
Maybe the 60th specials there is no tardis interior it will just show the doctor and Donna entering or exiting the tardis also if u notice in the teaser behind the Doctor when he’s sticking his head out of the tardis it just looks black behind him with no interior, I really hope they haven’t used Jodie’s interior for the 60th specials because I’m kind of sick of looking at it 😂
nah it was actually correcting an error within the video, because I forgot about the updated TARDIS set for Series 12 which did have a door to another room
The Crystal tardis looked great, I love the aesthetic, but I think they should have go a notch further adding another level. It's what I loved with the Smith and the Smith/Capaldi one, the levels give more interaction possibilities.
I don't like it. Roundels even on the floor, around the doorframe, and looks like thin catwalks, like a industrial factory, I don't know about the all white stuff. 🤔 Why, it's harsh on the eyes.
It looks terrible. Might just be the worst TARDIS interior ever made. I prefer Jodie’s TARDIS to whatever this is. 1. A main complaint I have with this one is that it’s WAYYYYY too big. There’s so much space, but there’s only small, thin walkways. It looks like you’d fall into an endless abyss. For how big this TARDIS is, there’s nowhere to walk or run around. 2. Perhaps the biggest complaint I have is that it’s too basic. There’s only white, and besides the console, it has no creativity or color. We’re reverting back to the roundels, REALLY?! I’ll be honest with you, I never liked the roundels. They looked okay in the classic TARDIS’s but they’re just all over the place here and the hugeness of the TARDIS doesn’t go well with them. The TARDIS as a whole just looks bland and distasteful, also boring. 3. Also, it doesn’t feel lived in. It feels really empty and like idk alone, like super echoey.
It's a 3D model, it isn't actually going to be glossy will all come down to how they light the set. This is based off 3 seconds of video footage featuring an unfinished set and a piece of concept art and we've seen her different sets tend to look compared to their concept art. Also massive L, the size is great and the TV Movie set is peak.
@@jeanlucharry TV Movie set is my 2nd favorite. I love it as well. A main complaint I have with this one is that it feels really small. There’s so much space, but there’s only small, thin walkways. @@benjamindavis4974 No, it’ll look like a 30 year old abandoned disco night club. Here’s the media trying to push “the message” again, which is not bad at all I just wanna say, but when it’s shoved in your face, it unintentionally parodies and mocks the people it’s trying to represent.

I'm really digging it. Lots of room for the camera and actors to move about, very striking to look at. Yeah I think it'll work really well.
Also I think the brown and orange look of Ncuti Gatwa is gonna make it pop like a late 70s aesthetic... it's gonna look so great
I think David's Tardis is in storage so they could possibly use that. The Tardis could default to this room :)

I've not been this excited over a console room since Capaldi redecorated. I'm really loving this interior.
Wish I’d used artists impressions of the interior for my video. It took the BBC 6 day but they got it with a copyright strike. 😬
snap! 🙃

It looks so much nicer than the diarrhea tardis from 13's era. And everything was lovely once again. Wonderful.
Love it 👍. So much better than the 13th doctor's tardis interior.
