It's rare in this day and age to see men really praising and crying out to God like some of the men in the choir nit to mention Pastor Caesar had to come out and help bc the singers went in with that old Skool praise!

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched this over the past 37 or 38 years. I never get tired of watching. To me this entire video was the greatest collection of Gospel Artist on one stage. I only wish I could have been in the audience!❤️

Same here , I have it on VHS , watching it at 7 yrs old with my lil brothers and lil cousins , I’m now in my early 40’s , I’ve always cried at the second song at 2:00 and till this day this song still makes
me cry , tears or joys and gratefulness, it has better meaning than it did when I was lil, I had to go through some things to truly appreciate this song, I have come a mighty long way and still yet holding on , thank God for his mercy and patience

every single SECOND of this, I sincerely love!!!!! Im a huge Hawkins fan. This is a good section of the movie "Gospel" jammed packed full of gospel greats. See Darryl Coley in there too singing and shouting, lol. Hawkins Family showed us "how to be" in front of an audience, they were also great stage workers as well as KILLER singers!
Bro. Flowers, both Edwin and Walter could read/write music, PLAY their songs, SING their songs, DIRECT their choirs to sing their songs, then turn around and mix/PRODUCE the final product. Unbelievable!

These were my super stars of Gospel back in the day and the songs are timeless! I couldn't wait until their albums were released I always bought them that day and played the grooves out of them lol ... as a young musician I had the great pleasure of meeting the Hawkins fam back stage several times and they were always kind and gracious like royalty! thank you for posting this!

When we were kids my grandma use to leave the radio on while we were at church on Sunday. However, when we walked through my grandma's front door the song Until I Found the Lord seem to always be playing especially on the part where they sing I've Got the Victory. We came through the door and church started right back up because we would start shoutin like we had the Holy Ghost. And that's shoutin without the g. Good ole days.

Every time I see this I get to go because when he takes the time to lose essay Lord have mercy he’s getting ready to go to work! Do you know your life is not gonna be the same every time he did it. The little things that you notice about someone that helps you to round the character when you’re writing a story. Shaking my head. Every single time and I mean it just hit me. Wow! A couple of years ago I heard A Kids Choir singing "Oh Happy Day" at The Grocery Store. It got to me that I had to leave because I knew if I stayed there any longer I would start bawling.

Then in their own way The Winans continued where they left off. Bebe Winans did a duet with the UK Girlgroup Eternal called I Want To Be The Only One that went to Number One and he performed with them when they did a reunion concert with other pop groups of the 1990's and early 2000's.
