Amazing that you always take the time to select and review these plays ! Thanks a lot ! At 9:37, blue 21 extends his left leg and trips yellow 4, then yellow 4 grabs him. Offensive foul to be called before because of moving screen ?
Yes, that would be correct. I had an evaluator at a provincial tournament tell me after the game that he had hoped I used it towards the end of the game, but I, like you, have never seen anyone use it or mention it outside of clinics. However, this year I will try to use it when the situation occurs; if I use it once, then I will use it more often.
So the last one should been updrade to a disqualifying foul ? Is it because the contact occurs in the head or even if this happen of the torso it should be call disqualifying ? Did they kept it unsportmanlike and didn't review it ? Nothing to do with this content but, do you know the signal for throw in foul (in the last 2) ?
Yes, this should be a Disqualifying foul. Article 38.1.1: A disqualifying foul is any flagrant unsportsmanlike action by players, substitutes, head coaches, assistant coaches, excluded players and accompanying delegation members Article 38.2.1: Acts of violence may occur during the game, contrary to the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play. These should be stopped immediately by the referees. If there is a Tyson punch to the torso it is also DQ. It´s all about evaluate the "Flagrant Unsportsmanlike action". Throw in foul: First you give verbal warning then it´s a Technical Foul. If last 2 minutes of the game you show the "illegal boundary line crossing" signal. If the defender brakes the line it´s a technical foul without warning.
@@einargun Ok, thank you for your explanations By throw in foul i mean personnal foul from defensive players during throw in, in the last 2 of the 4 quarter 34-1 "when the game clock shows 2:00 or less in the fourth or each overtimd and the ball is in the hands of the referee or a disposal of the thrower-in. If at this time a défensive player illegally contacts an offensive player on the court, this is a throw-in foul unless the contact meets the criteria of an unsportmanlike foul. The player who was fouled shall attempt 1 free throw with no line up, regardless of the number of the team fouls in the fourth quarter. The game shall be resumed with a throw-in by the non-offending team from the place nearest to the infraction " They use to be call as unsportmanlike until 2 years ago But now i can't find any vidéo showing the signal for this

0:46 Is this what FIBA wants us to call as a "illegal cylinder" foul? I have yet to see the use of the signal outside of the webinar introducing it.

Yes, correct, when player is stationary with the ball and defender goes into his cylinder. But I agree with you, this is hardly ever shown.
