@@blazingdefunk When I switched to the 14 pro I didn't notice a difference in the weight but it is a little bit heavier because of the stainless steel around the phone but you will get used to the weight it's not really noticeable maybe if you compare your iPhone 11 side by side you'll probably notice a weight difference but the iPhone 14 Pro is a very good phone even after a year I highly recommend the 14 Pro over the 15 Pro that is overheating and is more fragile than the 14 pro you can wait 4 years and get an even better upgrade from the 14 Pro.

I'm not a selfish person so USB C is a HUGE drawback for me. No longer will there be an "apple cable" and all my friends and family wont be able to charge their iPhones when they come over. When traveling I'll need to carry 2 cords if I'm thinking about friends, others or scenarios I'll need both cables in. This is really making me on edge and may not buy it. My 14 pro max held up well besides the million scratches and cracked rear glass since we no case gang out here
I’ve had a good experience with my gold 14 Pro for the 8 and a half months I’ve owned it, I also don’t use my phone as my main media consumption device preferring to use an iPad whenever possible. My Phone is still holding at 100 percent battery health.
I have exactly the same scenario over here! I like to as well separate my consumption to the iPad. I think most people are having a bad experience because they are using it non-stop.

Right! People talk so much about Usb-C and transfer speeds. Airdrop is fantastic, easy and fast. Also, the new phone is to be more expensive. I am only enticed by the titanium. Silly but..
You can't depend only on airdrop to move big files like pro-res videos, it is neither practical nor fast enough compared to USB-c connection. If buggy airdrop has been fine for you, you either don't move files often or your files aren't big enough that a better speed would benefit you.
Well the battery life is worst. When I compare my iPhone 14 Pro to my previous 13 Pro, despite having smaller battery, the 13 Pro had better battery life.

Yeah, my 13 promax died so I got the 14 promax space black in 512 GB and I’ll tell you what it was the best decision ever because I needed a phone and I honestly wasn’t too hyped for the 15. I don’t know I just wasn’t into it and I feel like even with the USB-C it really wouldn’t make me want to upgrade.
Did you have a problem with the regular ones or the pros? Because if you only tried the regular ones, those ones don’t hold in my ear for even second. But the pros are absolutely okay.
I will be waiting a month or 3 and then getting the 15 Pro. The USB-C is a huge advantage for me as I play my music off of a MicroSDXC card as well as plug in a USB-DAC. The lighting port causes all sorts of issues for this because there is no official Apple accessory that does both at the same time. So I have to use the cheap Chinese version(s) which are not very reliable. USB-C would open me up to a host of quality add-ons that will allow me to do this more reliably. Plus the faster USB-3 speed for reading from the SDXC Card.

Why just? Maybe a slightly larger battery. Better pictures hopefully. USB-C, finally. Better battery life, I read from many people that their battery life is really not good now. Not everyone has an iPhone 14 pro. New iPhone will feel lighter in hand. Also faster charging.

I agree with this If you are currently rocking an iPhone 12 or older. Since it will be a nice upgrade and will last a long time. But if you have anything newer, I would encourage people to wait for the 16 Pro. Since I think that will a bigger jump.

I think Apple will drop the 14 Pro from its own line up. As they always only keep the regular models. I don’t know about your country, but here in Slovakia the usual authorised retailers always have a bunch of extra units ready to be sold.
If you can live with 60 hz and without the 3x zoom camera then I would go with the 15. Otherwise, if you can find the 14 Pro with a discount where it is just about 50-100 bucks more than the 15 I would go for it instead.
Damn, that's a huge upgrade! My last phone was also from the same year as the 8 came out. I remember deciding between getting the 8 or a Huawei P20 Pro. Ended up going for the android, since I never had an iPhone before and the 8 looked kinda too small for me.

It’s as good as it should have been from the beginning. That means you never notice that that it has over sharpened something.

Well, if you want/need Pro Motion (120 hz). Go for the 14 Pro/max. if not, 14 Plus is sick. The dynamic island is not worth an upgrade alone.

I think Apple will drop the 14 Pro from its own line up. As they always only keep the regular models. I don’t know about your country, but here in Slovakia the usual authorised retailers always have a bunch of extra units ready to be sold.

If you can live with 60 hz and without the 3x zoom camera then I would go with the 15. Otherwise, if you can find the 14 Pro with a discount where it is just about 50-100 bucks more than the 15 I would go for it instead.

Damn, that's a huge upgrade! My last phone was also from the same year as the 8 came out. I remember deciding between getting the 8 or a Huawei P20 Pro. Ended up going for the android, since I never had an iPhone before and the 8 looked kinda too small for me.
Exactly my thoughts, whats the point of USB-c if the phone doesn't work properly with windows and on mac you airdrop regardless. Apple shoots itself in the foot time and time again.
