You are so right!! I called 3 plumbers who came out to my house. The first two couldn’t fix it and left cussing. The third one had one of these gizmos and fixed it in less than 5 minutes. Best $50 I ever spent!😅
So glad you mentioned Eye safety, I would have said it right at the start before even getting any tool out! I found out the hard way and got an nasty eye infection doing a tap install so please to other diy or Yters, always wear some safety glasses ideally ones that stop dust and don't steam up and don't skip it since tap connectors/tails/nuts can rust and the last thing you want is a rust metal particle going in your eye!
Great tip Dave ! I have one of these multitools. I am sure there are knock off cheap junk out there , but this one is the best. I don't think my faucet was installed correctly as I don't see the the large steel plate that Faucet nut tightens against.
Mine keeps loosen. I tried to tighten 2 screws but they did not work (wrong approach) so I will have to try differently to tighten up the nut with this tool.
THIS! Thank you so much for the recommendation of this tool! I have been using another version of this for which I had to always unhook the hoses and it would come loose again in a week. Thanks again! Great video. Very clear.
After putzing for 30 minutes with a large crescent wrench, I decided to get on UA-cam and see how the smart people tightened a faucet. Bingo! Thank you, good sir, for the video. Ordered tool off your link! Currently $25. That's a bargain for this tool. It is VERY multi-purpose, too.
Not necessarily better but I was thinking if someone is heavily invested in mechanics tools , maybe they can use a crows foot with an appropriate extension. There are many ways to skin a cat as the saying goes. Not that I am encouraging animal cruelty but that is the saying...Wouldn't the basic basin wrench work..
If and when I install a new faucet at a tenants or even my house and it comes with a special wrench, I just add it to my collection of tools. You never know when it can come in handy. You realize you paid for that tool in the price of the faucet... lol
The engineers who designed these faucet systems deserve a lifetime of misfortune and inconveniences
Plumbers paid them
Co signed!

@@SAYWSNCI'm surprised not every plumber knows about this gadget
The water want come over after putting the new faucet
Whoever invented this is a genius. Got one today. Took two seconds for the faucet to come off after an hour of struggle.
Definitely a game changer 👍
just ordered mine after struggling at my daughter's house
Is it available in home depot?
Yes Home Depot should carry these.
$20@@ApartmentMaintenancePro
If I want to use silicone or loctite, to help seal the faucet in place, would I apply it before tightening or when I get 90% of the way?
Tighten first

Buying one of these now for my busted ass sink since the guys who installed it did a terrible job.
Thank you for the recommendation, king!
You won’t regret it Mike!
Me too. Can’t believe kitchen installers did such a half ass job. I thought they would know how to do it right.
Nice video! Questions, this faucet tool wrench works with bigger mounting metallic nuts?? Thanks!
Came for the multi-tool. Stayed for the flashlight. Those tools are great.

Socket wrench with long extension into the Rigid socket fitting hole, helped a lot also!
Do you have a trick when the wrench won't work because the faucet bolt (I don't know what it is called) became rounded and not able to turn it.
Finally a way that will work! Thank you so much!
Using the same light! It is perfect, great video so damn pinched under my kitchen sink
Love that light! Thanks for watching!
Best advice ever wear eye protection I got some nasty crap in my eyes took a week to work out.

thank you for sharing👍
I'm dealing with this right now but with a utility sink and my extension claw just isn't doing it. Gotta get this
Such a versatile tool for plumbers
What about a basin wrench?
I LOVE that Ridgid tool, I have tons of tools, but this tool makes some jobs so much quicker & easier
Same. It’s so versatile and well built
Like it, going to buy one
You can use a slim screw driver to turn it around
It is always better if the faucet is installed correctly from the beginning !
No $hit? They still come loose no matter what you do!

Thank you for watching :)
What if it's tight at the base but the stem is loose
Pull out the entire brass thread, and the washer and nut, rethread up into the faucet, reattach faucet and nut 👍
Finally a way that will work! Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
One of the best tools ever made, makes the job so much easier.
I agree!
This video is really helpful. Thank you for making it❤❤
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for posting this helpful video
Thanks for watching 🙏
How wide can the nut be for that too? 1.5 or 1.25?
I know it goes up to 1”
And where does a house wife get one of these ridiculous ingenious thingy

Love this tool so much glad you like it as well !
Looks like it is very large and cumbersome!

Basin wrench would work as well 👍
What about a basin wrench?
Those will work as well 👍
2 month wait to purchase from amazon
You can usually get these from home depot
What about larger faucet nuts?
I haven’t ran into that but a spanner wrench might do the trick!
