DAVID PHELPS is a gospel/Christian singer. He started out with the Gaither vocal band(he still sings with them on occassion) but now has gone solo producing, arranging and writing some of his songs, as he did this beautiful and powerful song. It brings audiences to their feet in pure emotional and heartfelt joy each time he chooses to sing it. He is a muti- talented musical genius. He can sing any genre but he has devoted his career to gospel music which he says is 'his calling.' No one can sing like DAVD PHELPS. He sings song after song with the same kind of power and emotion. He is a master at captivating his audiences with his powerful and sincere delivery. He is the best artist of my lifetime. He is a very humble family man and loved by millions. He truly BELIEVES what he sings about. He has made a tremendous impact on my life as well as many others.
Other songs you should react to are... O HOLY NIGHT, WE SHALL BEHOLD HIM, NESSUN DORMA, NO MORE NIGHT, END OF THE BEGINING........I could go on and on. Once you discover him, you will never get enough of this powerhouse who touches the innermost depths of your soul. The best soloist alive today hands down! A true gift from the ALMIGHTY!

Yes, this is a gospel song. David can sing any genre but is a gospel singer and the most excellent of gospel singers, in my opinion. He has been known to sustain a note for over 20 seconds. He's classically trained at Baylor University in Texas and sang as a member of the Gaither Vocal Band for 20 years. He has since been working on his solo career with his family band, writing songs and doing his own arrangements of songs. He's phenomenal!!!
