What an amazing video to showcase the efforts of your engineering and product development teams!
After seeing many space projects get funded and cancelled over the decades I highly respect Sierra Space for continuing their Dream Chaser vision. "Tenacity" is a great name!
When Ben Riggles was introduced I had to rewind and pause the video to make sure I read "Badger Test Manager" correctly. I thought for sure it was badge test manager and my brain was having a Monday.... Nope, dude really is a badger tester and I now have a new career aspiration.
That's a great way to lose fingers.
Mushroom mushroom! It's a snake oh a snake it's a snake a wiggly little snake..... Ah.. .BADGER BADGER BADGER
@@derrekvanee4567 holy crap you just took me back like 18 years
When I heard ‘badger,’ I was like, Wisconsin? Sure enough. And now I may have a new career aspiration as well, as I’m moving from Phoenix back to Wisconsin to take care of my parents.
I realise this video was probably NOT a result of my previous comment about more frequent content, but this was exactly what I asked for, so... thank you.
More please :)
We have more coming. 😉
How much taxi to mars?
That much be such a rad gig...launching into a new era of space exploration. Good to be alive.
Love the narrator's voice, it's so retro-cool. Classic feel to it, couldn't be better. excellent.
Looking forward to Dream Chaser flying!
YT algorithm brought me here! Finally! The Chaser look is so sci-fi. Brilliant to see the details for the rocket engine.
More video updates please.
My mother was an outgoing inspector for Sperry ad the space shuttle avionics, so your program has a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to see how the next decades takes your amazing work and takes it from one of prototyping to masproduction.
I have been looking forward to this since the 90's. This design is descendant of many models of lifting bodies that have been tested by many different companies and agencies. That new RCS tech is really exciting. And it only gets better from here.
Yes it reminds me a lot of NASAs H10 experimental lifting body from the 60s!
Sierra Space = A Convocation of Bad Ass Boffins. C'MONNNNN!!
It's inspiring to see such a young group of Can-Do Engineers working on this!
I believe the average age of Apollo Engineers and Techs was under 35 years old and look what they did!
I can't wait to see Dream Chaser fly!
Returning to Earth in a Dream Chaser will be a lot safer and more practical than in a Starship!
Looking forward to seeing the Dream Chaser fly.
Keep on Sierra Space! 👍
Looking forward to Tenacity's first flight!
It's getting closer!
I've been waiting anxiously for a long time to see this become a routine flyer.
That was actually quite good exciting production good engineering advert , keep up the good work
4:36 The Vortex combustion chamber is revolutionary... That wasn't lost on me! ;)
Sounds like a very clever design, well done!
I am looking forward to Dream Chaser getting to space.
good luck to the team, you are doing good. see you in space!
Dream Chaser is the dark horse I've been hoping to see for years now. I'm really looking forward to seeing you launch!
Great job, you guys seem to be very excited about what you all have developed. Being a retired controls engineer, I never stop learning new things. Can’t wait to see Dream Chaser in action.
Awesome! Keep up the great work. All eyes will be on you when Dram Chaser flies. Can't wait!
THIS is SO BEAUTIFUL and the TEAM'mmmmm ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍🏽
🎵Set these dreams on fire 🎶
looking forward to see it take off atop the vulcan centaur early next year hopefuly :) keep it up you guys, all your hard work will soon pay off
I wish I could "like" this more than once. Go for it.
You guys have to call one of your Dream Chasers ‘Farscape 1’ and invite the actor Ben Browder and the rest of the Farscape cast along for the PR…!
Interesting 👍🏴
Great video. Been watching anything I can find on Dream Chaser. Love the concept. Keep them coming.
My uncle works on the team, he sends me tons of info and merchandise sporting dreamchaser
Been following this company for a long time now. Can’t wait to see the first launches.
Super excited for dream chaser to fly. Beautiful space craft!
I love seeing Sierra Space succeed!!
Keep going, Sierra Space! You are a special group of people pursuing and extraordinary dream.
Awesome video. Thanks. Can't wait to see her fly. Peace. 🦘
Perfect name for the first dream chaser. Thanks for the video, you guys n gals rock!
Really rooting for you guys and all the teams!! I even made a custom patch badge which I will attach to my flight-sim jacket when SNC makes their first manned mission!! Looking forward to celebrating that moment!! :-D
Go Dream Chaser. Go Sierra Space.
A man rated Dream Chaser is so exciting! Blatantly obvious it's needed. Bloody politics!
i love what u guys are doing for humanity hope for space exploration and beyond, keep up the good work guys...
Amazing Work 🤩🛸🌌 Well Done All the teams 👏🏼
Godspeed, Sierra!
Really Well Done - Thanks
Looks great. Giddy up!
I'm sooo looking forward to these guys success.
Been following since the Rutan days.
Anxious for their year.!!!
The rapid increase of developing space company is what makes humanity develop quickly.
Sierra Space is GO!
Man oh Man am I excited to see the incredible work these brilliant folks are doing. 50 Years ago, it was 'suping' hot rods, now it's designing reusable space transport vehicles - Cool
nice to see htp / rp-1 making a comeback!
Booyah! 🚀
Excellent stuff bro
I've been waiting for this shuttle since I found the Hermes program. When I was in my youth.
Glad, so glad to see this viable vehicle is actually going forward with development.
I hope dream chaser takes to the skies in the near future. Looks like a great next generation shuttle. Can I ask what the predicted specific impulse for the vortex thrusters would be?
This is what the original space shuttle should have been!!
Awesome!
That's pretty cool :)
Super Cool. Wished I had applied myself better in school and life enough said!!!
Noice, you guys have been doing work!
Love and challenge from india 🇮🇳
Can't wait for first cargo delivery to the ISS.
Very cool
Hello sierra space
I love how you're Doing this
I look forward to dream chaser's launch
amazing
Cool!
Awesome
Dream Chaser, in orbit, and making corrections with its nose thrusters makes it look like a space-age ascendant of a dragon!
How Dream Cheaser could have new version, something like adult version with more comfortable environment and more space inside. Like spaceships few times larger with more advanced design, lights, technology view and qualities. Possibly with more easy up and down system from ground to space :)
A candle at on end makes it hop with 5 tons of force
Interesting I've never heard of this startup before. Are you guys in a series B funding?
3d printers..
will be our secondary industial revolution...
Hell. Yes.
I have work on the surface of Mars in the form of the Pyrofire Boards for the Curiosity Rover. They control the Explosive Bolts used to control deployment of various components.
"Sierra Space is leading the charge in orbital age"
SpaceX: okay kiddies
Nooice!
You have to look in their eyes!
*I ❤️ LIFTING BODIES!*
Amazing video, I am really excited to see it fliying. Do you have an expected launch date?
Thanks Alex. Anticipated launch is 2023.
Engineers design the future. Machinists make it come true.
Good Ladies & Gentlemen of Sierra Space; My sincere thanks for your efforts please get us off this Rock, this tiny beautiful blue marble Earth so that we can grow & explore the solar system. The Dream Chaser has the potential to work as an space station to space station transport. Imagine one day docking with a future version of the ISS, then transporting experiments, personal, & supplies to a private commercial space station. I do have a question about your combustion efficiency; can you run your exhaust through an ionizing chamber similar to a hall thruster to impart an increase in particle speed on the plasma?
What rare earth element was the nozzle made from? Hard to tell in the audio.
The nozzle is made from Niobium.
Sierra space may have been part of the google f35 x47b copyright and patent and business plan.
Why use seals and gaskets when you can use an additive process to create a solid piece?
I can get to the other side of universe and just roam around
Please give the next manned Shuttle mission the sign "STS-136"
I’m more curious on the passenger compartment.. how many astronauts can it hold for how long etc. fascinating
its uncrewed, its mainly for cargo transport.
this spacecraft is fucking badass
go go go
Rooting for you guys! You should have the dream chaser ferrying astronauts up to the ISS instead of Boeing messing around. Btw, that repetitive music in this video was totally annoying by the end of the video. Consider different music next time.
I thought Aerojet Rocketdyne was doing the RCS Tech?
So yall saw James Lemon right? Thats my science teachers brother XD
shuttle-like vehicle without the reusability cost
I don't like corporate videos in my feed, but fine... take my Like since I like dream chaser lol
Boy id love to work for you.
What is the song in the beginning and then fading into background? Thanks 🙌

My only concern : We don't know what's a bad design for space, until it suddenly fails on us, out there... It is only THEN, that we work on perfecting it...😶😮💥
It's so metal
A small component of the nuclear triad awards and contracts upgrades and maintenance bringing my general rank higher etc.
Here: "We make what nobody did before"
SpaceX: Going to Mars
fly the thing
Why this Company give me an evil space company vibe🌚😆
im just waiting for huge battle ships in space
