That big E is killer. Two months ago I picked up a vintage blanketed Lee Storm Rider jacket. Corduroy collar, four plastic cats eye buttons for the waist adjusters and no hand warmer pockets. Still has the union garment workers tag in the pocket. Very nice condition.
I just bought one mine. Same stone wash from premium with big E. Legit levis but it is made in china. Some tattered and fits me like a glove. Though it is not vintage, with all caps tag (big E) , it wears great and it thus boost my self esteem a bit😅 especially when I encounter other denim heads.
i have a super thrashed one from the 90s the collar is so ratty but i wont give it up. its so distinguished i gotta rock it until i'ts simply not an option.
Big E are good if they are old . Because I recently found a 512 jeans big E I thought I found gold wonk wonk wonk I guess a good come up for $115 and I paid &4.99 at Salvation Army

well I dont think this one called trucker jacket because it didn't have any warm pocket. It'd better call type III. the term trucker jacket appeared since Levi's released new model in 1980s with warm pockets.
Also, on the 1971 and prior Levi's jackets, there is a single-stitch by the bottom button hole, whereas from 1972 on, it is a double-stitch.

The type 3 big E dates between 1967 and 1971, after which the e became lower case

Interesting. I thought the chest V lines make it a trucker jacket. Not the pockets. We usually just call it two pocket trucker or four pocket trucker.
