FIRST EVER VR EXPERIENCE!

#dcs #BigScreenBeyond #vr #simulator #microsoftflightsimulator After years holding off purchasing a VR headset, I finally went all in and bought the Big Screen Beyond in November 2023. I've only just received due to the high demand and thought I'd make a quick video trying to explain what I was experiencing. I'm simply blown away and left speechless with my first VR experience in DCS world.

I've gotten into arguments with simmers who were just plain anti VR. Some of of them are just vehemently opposed to it and I can;t figure out why...it seems like the reflexive fear response of a luddite. Because once you get into the sim in VR, you just can't deny how good it is. I mean, the whole point of a sim is to get as close to actually doing the thing, flying the plane etc. All the sim gear we buy is to try and make it feel more real, and NOTHING comes closer to feeling more real than VR. But it does seem hard to convince some people, right up until they see it for themselves.
And now that I've watched this video, I feel the need to go sit in my simpit, strap on the Aero, and do some work in the Hornet.

For sure mate and to be fair, these units are expensive. So I can understand the reluctance for many. However, never in my wildness dreams did I think it would be as good as it is and had I known. I would likely have either the Crystal or Aero (had pre orders on both) right now! My bigger issue now is finding windows of time to actually play & learn dcs again.
