Would be cool if "SARS" mode would search back and forth systematically over a predetermined area on the map and also put a box around anything that moves.
The drop mechanism and built in speaker is pretty cool.

Your high winds warning was the load destabilizing the drone making the gyros register what's programmed as buffeting winds.
Oh I was waiting and waiting for that range test...
I don't know why they didn't beef up the size of the motors..!!

With my X8 2022, I've lifted 340gm, but you do get the motor overload warning. The 2022 still has the power meter on the app, which tells you how hard the motors are working.
I had a drop system on my P-4pro system,I work SAR work.

A different kind of environment to like. No ocean or mild climate like Hawaii but it's affordable and beautiful 🍻
Video quality is good, even with digital zoom its cool
However, the video transmission range could be improved, especially when dealing with obstacles like trees. this is a great informative video. Thanks for sharing bro!
I paid €400 for FIMI X8 SE 2020 back in well, 2020 and I was really disappointed with it.
I have no idea how much they have improved since then, but I think I'd rather just pay more for a proven DJI drone.
You would of loved the v2 version.. Most was corrected on that version..
It's a beast of a drone..

So....would you say it's worth upgrading from the x8 se 2022 v2? or just wait for the x8 tele pro model.....whenever that releases.
I'd wait unless you want the obstacle sensors. They do work to keep the drone from crashing rather well 🍻
Thank you for the response Dustin. While the slightly upgraded camera and Opst-Av is tempting, I think I’ll just wait to see if the Tele and Tele Pro bring much to the table. Considering the x8 pro is still only 4k/30 while the new Fimi Mini 3 already has been bumped up to 4k/60, I imagine THAT will be coming in the newer x8 models (and the mysterious x6 that nobody knows anything about)
I liked my old Fimi 8 except for a software limit on distance that couldn't be changed. Then moisture got inside the camera and fogged up the videos.
Which model and what was the restriction..
I have 2 v2 models no restriction as far as range..

You keep saying your son and his little brother I’m guessing the little guy isn’t yours but if you with his mother he’s yours as well
that was ghastly... not a SAR grade drone at all. Be honest man. The flight was erratic and full of errors popping up on the screen. The payload capacity is a joke. You can't hear the speaker over the noise of the drone. It's a toy not a proper SAR level drone.

I don't know about signal penetration? But when you can fly them further than mavik air mavik air 2. Mavik pro 2 then still not sure about the signal penetration if referring to just being under cover of trees.. Hmm
Signal needs to go from remote to drone. If trees and hills are blocking that line (which you saw here when I descended near my boys) video and control are compromised as explained in the video 🍻

@camposvazquez it's good up to about 30-40mph winds then you hit a wall or it pushes the drone. They all have a similar rating at this size and weight 🍻

There is a silencer for the motors 😂 then yu can hear your voice....
