Mexican Car Insurance is very important. I'm an affiliate for a great company in San Diego. Check out my link to Baja bound below. You can find a great policy using my link, at no extra cost to you. Below is a link to my video on how important it is to drive in Mexico with the proper insurance policy. ua-cam.com/video/aJbWBk-eXFQ/v-deo.html (My video on Do I Need Mexican Car Insurance?) www.bajabound.com/quote/?r=mc... If you are taking a shuttle from the airport to your hotel in Cabo San Lucas, it is often possible to have the driver stop at Costco or Walmart on the way, for a larger tip. Or, you can just buy stuff at the local OXXO.
Im sure they'll do any stop if the price is right. They problem is most shuttles are vans that take multiple people. Take the $5 dollar bus I show in the Cabo video. Most shuttles are $20 plus. Get to your resort. Then take the $1 bus or Uber to Costco. He's gonna want a big tip to wait for a Costco run. Cabo is large. Plenty of smaller places to get supplies. Plus many great places to eat. Both expensive and cheap
@@SirManflyI've been to Alberta. Great area. But when it gets cold, Cabo is a great choice. Thanks for checking out the video. If you haven't, I hope you consider subscribing. Thanks, Joe
I think my how to walk into Tijuana shows my favorite lot. Gateway next to Jack n Box on Pedeast side. Attendant 24 hours and they usually have the best rate. I've never been to Velario.
@@mindlink1811 Not sure about the phone. I've always seen the gut at the lot. If you take Amtrak to downtown then get on the trolley Blue line. 40 min it ends at Pedeast. Maybe $40 Uber. Have a good trip
@@EagerExpat rodeway inn was the hotel I always stayed in but they are renovating and wont reopen till end of August. They are .4 miles walking distance from the border.

@@EagerExpat Thanks for the info. Last time I went, it was only our group that filled up the shuttle.
oxxo sucks and is expensive
They that bike is definitely Chinesium engineered and assembled in Mexico
That's what I thought. Probably not ready for the Baja 1000, but looks nice to run around town. Thanks for checking out the video. Joe

Hey Joe which overnight parking place do you recommend that's close to the San Yisidro border? Also do you recommend Velario hotel?

@@EagerExpat I called Gateway lot twice and it went to voicemail. Do you recommend taking a train from flyway station in Van Nuys to San Yisidro?

The blue and white parking lot that's right there when you get off the 5 is safe. I've spent a week away from my car and nobody's touched it.
what about a costco card . how much did you see is it cheaper or higher
I'd say 5 to 15 percent higher on some items
Oh the membership card price? Sorry I didn't check.
@@EagerExpat 😏😪🙏 maybe next time thank you
$2 dollars for a soda and hotdog. SD living not making sense.
Same ocean at a fraction of the price
Costco uses these as a "lost leader". The soda and hotdog special is $1.50 at Costcos in SD.
