Thank you so much. We are headed to San Jose Del Cabo next week. I’m having difficulty getting the quote from BBB. Try giving them a call back in person today. can’t believe how expensive it is. We went to Israel in 2022 and it was much more affordable. We drove all over the place and I was not afraid and people drive so insane there.
@@clarissahopkins1148 they normal respond to emails quickly. Alamo across the street did us right for a 1 day rental. Renting a car in Mexico is insanely expensive and aggravating. We have rented many more times from BBB since this video. They are honest. Alamo was honest with us also.
Great informative video, thanks for taking the time to put this out. We only rent cars once and a while so not too familiar with the nuances. I feel more knowledgeable before making the decision on who to rent from. On that note, we reached to BBB, got a reply from Reuben right away and will probably be renting from them. Hope you get some sort of referral for each customer you send their way : )
No i don’t get a referral at all. But I am thankful to help people. My goal is for people to come enjoy Mexico and how amazing it is without issues. Renting a car in Mexico can be stressful and 9 out of 10 times you are getting ripped off in some way. That was not the case with BBB. I appreciate your feedback. I don’t know your plans but La Paz and walking the malecón would not be a disappointment to you. We just love that whole area. If you have to COVID test before leaving I highly recommend the airport. We did a video on that too. Hope you have an amazing trip.
Thank you very much. I have to remember that Mexican time is much different from American time. They do not have the same sense of urgency as in the USA
@@clarissahopkins1148 not at all. I have been living down here 2 years now. But honestly I dread going back to the US every time I go to work. Mexico is amazing but it takes some getting used to and it’s not for everyone
Rent online prior but always pay insurance which is equal to the cost of the rental. Fox is the best out of Cabo, hands down. It’s like $300 for a whole week.
Thanks for the input we have never tried Fox. I was very impressed with BBB. But I hate renting a car from anyone in Latin America Lol. I love being there in fact probably moving to the Baja soon but renting a car sucks Lol. BBB made it an honest transaction. We will look at Fox next time for sure. Thanks for sharing we are always wanting to learn more.
@@bigskyblessing Another interesting caveat is I remember going there with a boyfriend and he wanted to put his credit card down and they asked for $10,000 deposit. He kind of stared at me and I was like I don’t know I’ve never paid that but that was because I always purchased the insurance ahead of time. You can do it online in the office right there. Then pick up your rental. I believe it must be done in advance to avoid crazy credit card holds.
@@victorgaray9864 used to be about $250 for a week. However if you are on a super tight budget they’ll offer you a time share presentation and it will be free. I’ll typically pay you whatever your car rental is. And you’ll get a credit for it or cash
@@victorgaray9864 typically $12 a day but you can’t get that price. There’s no such thing as without insurance in Mexico at least not in Cabo. That I know of

Wow! Thank you so much! This is exactly the info I was looking for!
Thanks - have a good trip!
Thx for the information tip...
We went back recently and had the exact same experience. They are Incredible
Great place to rent a car. We rented last April 2022. The cars are not perfect, but it ran great and got us around.

Thank you! I’ll be renting from them in July
You won’t be disappointed! Let us know how your trip goes! La Paz is so worth the drive.
I have rented from them many times and they really are the best.
I thought you liked them. We look forward to seeing you down there Bull.
So BBB car rental doesn’t do a security deposit when you pick up the car?
They do not
Music screw-up all your review. I do not come to listen music. It is disturbing. But it is very nice piece of information
I am sorry you didn’t find it pleasant

Final bill.
I am pretty sure I gave it in the video. Let me double check.
@@bigskyblessing you said that you paid about $500 in a different place
