it seems like zheng’s skill has somewhat declined, as she gave errani two bagels last year at this same tournament
Too much power differential. Sara's serve is letting her down badly, especially against big hitters. And the fact that Sara is also short means she doesnt have the long levers to generate big racket head speed, and therefore speed on the ball. She cannot beat the big players unless they have a very, VERY bad day.

In each tournament there’s seeds who are the highest ranked players at that tournament Ranked 7 in the world Zheng is the number one seed at this tournament even though she’s 7 in the world. In the Grand slams it’s always on ranking with all the players being there at the biggest tournaments.
