That was a cool video. Tractors are like a Swiss Army knife, very versatile with lots of different implements. You got yourself a great tractor there Sam. Nice first run and that shallow approach and break over angle is going to be sweet with a track machine.👍👍👍🇺🇸

Glad to see the video on the PTO head. I was curious how it would perform on your Kobuta. Mechanical driven head will cut better with little power loss like the hydraulic driven heads. You probably don't have the room but there is a swivel seat base available that will turn 30 degrees side to side that would make it easier to operate it. Glad to see you went with the Diamond C trailer, quality trailers.

That’s pretty good for 51hp I’ve got a 6’ FAE mulcher behind a tractor that requires a minimum of 90hp at the PTO and it is a hoss of a machine. Awesome video as always, keep up the good work! 👍🏻🇺🇸🚜

Sam, if you mount a wide mirror onto your roof front edge hanging down 6 inches or so kinda like a sun visor you will find your neck pain easing a lot. Use it on skid steers etc, works quite good cos unlike a camera your brain still knows which way to turn the steering wheel. Like your content Dude. G,day from Tasmania, Australia.

Set the loader bucket to the same height or slightly lower than the mower. Just go forward the bucket will lean the brush forward and if there are rocks, stumps and anything else in front of you you’ll hit it with the bucket first. The bucket also protects your radiator. Only if you need back over something then do that but most of that field you can go forward over. Thanks for the videos.

I have a Landpride FM4188 with the cast iron knives. I've used it on my L5740 for some years now but last year I got a 1812 bush hog. The 4188 can do up to 3" thick trees but is slow when mowing, but I need it to clear bigger stuff in an overgrown pasture. The 1812 mower does great mowing but hits really hard on 2" saplings. I would love to have that mulcher, but then I wouldn't need the 4188. Wanna do a trade? Serious offer. The 4188 would have done that job in way less time and would have chopped it up even finer. I think the mulcher would fit my need very well.

Put camera and monitor in a covered box to protect from dirt and debris may even come in handy for grading as well. Use quick connect video Jack's to take system off out of weather and not in use.

By deciphering what you said about basically getting the head or the tractor for free depending on how you look at it...I would say you must have got a smoking deal, top & tilt kit, wheel weights, canopy and 3 remotes that’s a nice set up. I like that the Kubota side the skid steer quick attach, handy for loading attachments when you don’t have a skid steer around. The binders look beefy but what what is the purpose of even having the handle if they don’t ratchet? They would store easy without the handle, that Included ratchet would be slick for manual jacks and it looks awesome.

So if it wasn't such a deal financially, what would your opinion be? I guess they make a smaller PTO mulcher that still needs around 30 PTO HP, but at nearly $10K. I can rent a TL8 with a big rotary mower, for a month for less than that $10K, or a 299D with a Fecon head for about $12K per month. I've got 25 acres of very overgrown pine forest that needs to get cleaned up. Most of my contractors are bidding around $4k for a day or two with an estimate they can clear a couple of acres in that time. I guess I need to do this myself.
