STS 31 that was a big day for NASA because Hubble was placed in orbit to explore the stars. Latter it was realized Hubble needed glasses and it stayed up there until STS 61.

The legendary Hubble space telescope deployment mission. Also, should be John Young's 7th mission.

Mr. Young deserved this flight so much, but NASA politics got in his way after he voiced his concerns too loud about problems related to security in the Shuttle program (such as the O-rings).
