You can get cheap Logitech yokes for less than 100 dollars pre owned bro. I'll be honest I got bored of using mine after like 3 hours, I'd advise not to buy one. However, I do advise you to buy a racing/sim wheel and play some driving games. I would genuinely love to see you play some Euro Truck Simulator, which you can play online with a modded version, with thousands of other truckers online.
You may benefit from editing the issues down the root cause and answer. EZ to edit hindsight. Been wanting to play this and downloading now after seeing the GOAT. Wishing H1Z1 was still here.

Go do the training. It helped me a lot. And use very small adjustments when doing anything. Tapping on the keypad instead of holding the keys down.

I use MSFS sometimes to play with the G1000 , it’s actually really well done in the game. I just use autopilot and load approaches and stuff like that

it will be a lot easier to control the plane from the outside and use the keyboard shortcuts to control things eg: throttle

Controller is better but you gotta go into settings and adjust the sensitivity. You can also get a yoke if you want way cheaper than $900😅
