These guys are criminally underrated. They've described themselves as "dark fantasy power metal" and have done albums on themes ranging from old west gunslingers, to multiple different apocolypse survivors.
If you're interested in reacting to more of their songs, i'd like to reccomend three songs:
In The Dawn Of The AI
F.E.V.E.R
The Things We Believe In
The second verse and some of the video setpieces reference some of their earlier albums. The burning city references Easton Hope (as with the line "... or Easton Hope, that fell prey to the flames."), the frozen city references To The End (as with the line "... through Winter's biting frost.), the reference to the album Ravenhead is quite self-explanatory, and the gallows along the guitarist's path are in reference to the cover of their debut album, Vale.
Great band, founded in 1996 (as Tanzende Aingeweide = Dancing Entrails [misspelled on purpose, Eingeweide would be correct], name changed in 1997).
Lots of bangers, you might like Gunman.
Vocalist and last remaining founding member Sebastian 'Seeb' Leverman (he was their guitarist until 2019 too) is also the bassist, second guitarist and backing vocalist of the multi national group Angus McSix, which consists (besides Seeb) of Swiss singer Thomas Winkler (ex-Gloryhammer), Italian guitarist Thalia Bellazecca (ex-Frozen Crown) and German drummer Manu Lotter (ex-Rhapsody of Fire). While they do play power metal like Orden Ogan, they have a completely different vibe. Their debut single was Master of the Universe.
The last notes are practically a homage to Iron Maiden
Sometimes, on some videos, I have to scroll up so I can't see the video, but just listen to the music. This one, I didn't do that. It was creepy, but the music was soooo good.
Great reaction and If you want to indulge into great music and videoclip chrck out Looking For The Lighg by Transatlantic.
Its completely different though but it's so good
