Excellent Video! It's mind numbing how many sites I've looked at that stated that nobody really knows what causes these cysts!!! Mine was caused by excessive smartphone/laptop usage. Your advice is spot on!
This is really one of the few good videos on the topic, so thank you. I keep suffering from ganglions cyst on and off, probably due to certain yoga postures. They're incredibly painful; icing and painkillers seems to take care of it in 2-3 days. I'm going to work on refraining from doing those postures from now on and also massage my wrists and be more mindful of the weak joints. Thank you again!
Believe it or not Frankincence essential oil helps tremendously. 2 drops on the skin covering the cyst. I use a small amount of coconut or other oil first (just bc I'm used to diluting my essential oils), then drops of the frankincense oil on top. Gently massage it in. Takes away the pain AND reduces size quickly.
I have had 2 ganglion cysts on the back of both my wrists for over 4 years now, due to constant typing and bad wrist placement near the keyboard, I had the one on my right aspirated once and it went away, though the bump remained, there's no longer any pain. But the one of the left, though used less compared to the right hand, keeps coming back, even though I had them aspirated twice. But since i started using epsom salt soaks, and also changed the way I kept my wrist while typing, the pain has gone down substantially. Also getting the muscles that lead up to the wrist (in case of wrist ganglion) stronger through controlled exercise is the only natural non gross remedy. Good luck to everyone trying to fix this weird problem. Thank you jamie, this video seems to be more of a solution than most of them out there.
Thank you Jamie. Was about to attempt to drain mine but found your video. Went right to your step two with the trigger release just diggin in my forearm with my thumb to release the tension and in about 3 min my cyst decreased about 75%. Thank you again.
Same in here but if i stop doing push up its goes away. So I was right something to do with the push up then. It came back i just barely done any push up and it's bloody painful
I LOVE your clip. My daughter is a performing artist (singer-piano player) and mother of 2 (4 & 6 yrs) and has had reoccurring upper wrist ganglion cyst problems for the last few years. Currently one of them is on-n-off painful. I will have her listen to your story as she and I always look for DIY remedies and non-invasive solutions to health challenges. Thanks for posting your story.
This is a great video. I had one in the same spot as you and something that helps me a lot is whenever any pain or swell comes on from activity I will just hold my wrist up above my heart for 15-20 minutes to get as much blood/fluid out of my arm and wrist as possible and that has made the pain instantly stop and the swelling go away for me. My cyst has been gone for over a month since the last time I did that.
Believe it or not Frankincence essential oil helps tremendously. 2 drops on the skin covering the cyst. I use a small amount of coconut or other oil first (just bc I'm used to diluting my essential oils), then drops of the frankincense oil on top. Gently massage it in. I work out everyday, I started doing knuckle pushups, but there are so many other excercise that still put a lot of pressure on the wrist. I play guitar as well and I type on a keyboard all day and in the remaining time I play games in controller. I don't think I can give up on any of these activities and I feel so helpless on how to reduce this
Great video! This has kind of confirmed what I suspected. A year ago I switched from using a standard computer mouse to a rollerball mouse, with my forearm and wrist resting on a hard table top and my hand cranked up and on to the mouse. Over time I noticed some irritation to my wrist and tightness over the top of my hand, I recently noticed a lump which at times is barely noticable and quite prominant at times of general activity. It's affecting the nerve in my wrist now to a point it's really painful using that hand and a light discomfort pain while at rest.
i am facing this problem for more then 4 years , it is very painful if i try to move my wrist upward or downward, range of motion of my wrist very less, so i cant do pushup pullup play guitar or any work .....i got the cyst aspirated but it reoccured this time bigger in size i tried massage exercise medication aspiration nothing worked i am going for surgery
Thanks for your video. My doctor in the UK diagnosed pain in my thumb joint as an internal ganglion. The British national health system refused to help in any way (cost!). I also used to have my arms ‘go to sleep’ when riding my motorcycle. I was checked for carpal tunnel syndrome but the tests were negative. I believe that the 2 issues are connected. I have retired to live in Bangkok, Thailand with my Thai family. I no longer ride a motorcycle, so my arms going to sleep aren’t an issue anymore. The ganglion is another matter, usually my thumb just aches but I have to be careful not to do anything with my thumb that would move the ganglion into the joint, otherwise the pain is intense. Due to covid massage parlours, here are closed so until they re-open I will be careful.
I’ve had one since I was 5. I was playing football with my brother and the ball hit off the palm of my hand and my wrist bent back completely. Sometimes I can’t even feel it but sometimes it’s so painful I can’t even move my hand 😫
I get them constantly between weight lifting and a busy life and I work with special needs kids so Im always putting tension on my body! What a fantastic video! great information and it makes me hopeful as Ive seen physican after physican and its just a waiting game for it to go then it returns.
I have one on my wrist just under my thumb I work in animation and draw every day for 8-9 hours a day so I think it’s from that it gets quite sore, surgery has been offered on the nhs but I worry about the time I will need to have off work, also I worry about damage to nerves and it is close to my artery so there’s that to
I had one on my wrist - locked myself out of my house one day, had to climb in the window - when I pushed myself up through the window...POP - my cyst was gone. A little pain, but it left. I was working in a "typing pool" at the time - yes, it was the 80's , so I figured it was from the typing. I have a very small one there today, but doesn't bother me.
Today's Friday, Wednesday I had mine drained. 18 months earlier I had it lanced but it came back quickly. (Volar, renal ganglion cyst) Sports medicine used an ultrasound this time, had 2 more pools of fluid below, so with the ultrasound were able to suck it all out, then put some anti inflation something in. Hopefully it is done. Just below the thumb did go numb, tingly for a day, but got better. I've been typing for a living since 1985, crochet a lot, make jewelry, do calligraphy...
For those who have a bump on the back of the wrist, you may try the table edge method. First close the hand into a tight fist, bend the wrist to bulge the bump out, and quickly hit the bump against the table's edge several times until the bump is flatten or is no longer there. It is like doing kung-fu against the table's edge, but do not do it too hard. Good luck and I hope it will work for you.
Thanks for the video. I developed my cyst on my anterior metatarsals(foot) by tying my shoe laces to tight. I followed your instructions did the stretch exercises and loosen laces on my tennis shoes. In three days it was reduced to half with no pain or discomfort .Video well explained Will Keep you posted A Ramirez
Can sleep positions cause this as well? I’m for the most part a stomach sleeper, which means I’ll more often times than not, have my hands under the pillow. However a few times when I’ve woken up, I would awaken to find I was sleeping on my wrist all crazy for who knows how long. A few mornings my wrists would be numb, I would shake it off and go about my day but never made the possible connection until now. Also, there’s not too much info to back me up on this, so I’m not sure.
Quick Recap: 1) Find the activity which was responsible for the problem and eliminate it. 2) Work on your trigger points (with Stick, massage, acupuncture) 3) Stregthen the antagonists 4) Find a therapist who is workting with you on your body and posture (rolfing) I consider the latter good advice and would like to add that problems like this cannot be solved "locally". Just working on your forearm won't help. Who of you guys also has problems with golfers elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome or the shoulder? Hot canditates for these symptoms are subluxations of the cervical spine (especially, if problems are on both sides) or the shoulder girdle. Maybe a specialist with an holistic approach (a rolfer or chiro practitioner) could help.
In addition to my Golfers Elbow I have two wrists in pain. Mine come from muscle ups. Also handstands, Now it hurts to lift weighs or do push ups. My experience with these cyst (one other time) is they will go away on their own. I am using the Stick.
@mphillips351 Bro I got this last 4 year...on my both of wrist...it not painfull for me for daily lifestyle....but the main problem is when I'm doing push-ups its very painfull I can't do 1-2 push-ups....plzz bro tell me what can I do???... My gym fees is wasted😞...plzz help me

Poping it should we be listening to this guy i wanted to stick a needle in & a nurse thought i was crazy but @ least its a smoother entry & hitting it with books how is that going to work
Thanks Jamie, quite informative. I think I have the cyst due to push-ups, I feel the tension every time i do a rep, will avoid that and see how it works. Thx again.

I am right handed and use this hand for everything..i will try some of these techniques n going see a specialist as well hope this pain subsides soon thanks so much for some food good advice I'll try soon ..very informative video to
I m glad i have found your video and detailed explanation and now i understand where my problem is coming from. I had something like that on my right foot long time ago but it just disappeared itself. About 2 months now, similar thing on my right foot but got bigger in size from last time, like the size of a wall nut. Went to my GP last week n he told me that, it will be done under general anaesthetic. O mg, i got chickened out big time. Today i had my accupuncture treatment n hopefully it works. some of the stuff i learned from your video, my Doc also conformed the same thing. So you are on the right track. You good man, thank you so much n God bless.
I began to notice a couple years after I fractured my right hand/Wrist that I get Ganglion Cysts that occur in the exact same spot. They form usually when I apply excess pressure to my wrist doing things like Bench Pressing/Push-ups, sleep with my hand in the wrong angle or when punching a boxing bag. It sucks but by the time I am able to get an orthopedic to check it out... the cyst calms and disappears. Smh 🤦🏻♂️
I had this since I was 12 year old when i was in primay school. But when i was in high school ( my age was 18) i used to play volleyball a lot and then one day the cist was gone. I really don't know how, maybe the volleyball or may be not. I didn't took any medicine or anything extra to treat it.
Basically my wrists have been hurting for 3 years now and there was nothing like any bumps or anything and I've learnt to live with it. I thought it was a growth problem and I had blood tests ect and the doctor agreed and told me to wait for a few more months. And so I couldn't wait any longer. The pain is in both of my wrists in the exact same place and the pain has become unbareable so I went to a hospital and I had both of my wrists X-Rayed and it wasn't a bone problem and so after that i have just had an MRI and I went to the hospital Yesturday for my results and I found out that that I have Ganglion Cysts in both of my wrists but there arnt any lumps on the top of underneath and on the MRI scan the cysts show up right in the centre of my hands so I can't pop it or anything and I have to go for a injection in 2 months where I'll have to be asleep because they have to dig down then surgery!!! Im so scared!!! Hehe anyways I thought I should share with you 😂😂 subscribe 😂✌️
hope you have found some resolve and pain relief thru surgery. If not, there are a few videos on here that discuss hot compress/anti-inflammatory treatments, such as pills, diet, essential oils, Epsom salts, etc. And, some ppl have found long-term resolve with this. Just FYI in case of a return, which has been said chances are high with aspiration or surgery. I have just detected this problem, popped up 3 days ago, and looking for info. Going to see the doc tomorrow for definite diagnosis.
I got ganglion cyst in my wrist couple of month before and it’s gone after hitting with a big book but still I have pain in my wrist. I went doctor and he Said he can’t do anything because it’s already gone. Didn’t give any solution for pain
I used Voltaren cream at night time, and my ganglion cyst is gone in a week, I had surgery, then an aspiration and those things didn’t work cause my ganglion cyst came back, Voltaren cream works
my dad has a sist in his wrist and i just got surgery on my toe wich had a gangling sist would you happpen to hv exercises you can post for your big toe??!!
Dude you can get it drained with a needle by a doc, but most of the time that does not get rid of it, you have to get surgery, it freaking sucks man I have dealt with so much pain for 9 years it gets worse and worse every year, now I am finally getting surgery, can not wait for it to be gone!
@@UwillNeverKnow33 oh man the more comments I hear the worse it sounds. Mine came just a month ago after I tripped over in the bush and landed on my hand, after that my wrist got really painful and I thought I'd sprained it or something but no, it's a ganglion cyst. I clean houses for a living as well so that makes it hard to not use my right hand. Although my clients have dropped by more then half of course so maybe I won't have any soon. Anyway I really hope you can still get the surgery you need. Goodluck!

I lift weights, but I've been lifting cement blocks and held a large water collector lately. The water collector [held by myself and 2 others] rolled while holding it and i twisted my wrist a few times. Painful but i walked it off. This was all last week. Not too concerned but ill get it check one way or another
im veryyy late to this video but i got mine from falling during soccer a lot, and landing on my wrists, after about 2 weeks after having games where i fall many times and catch myself with my wrist, i got a ganglion right next to the bone bump on the outside of my wrist, and it hurt like crazy, thanks for the video
I'm pretty sure I had this cyst on the back of my wrist, causing pain and limiting my range of motion when pulling my wrist back (which made doing things like pushups or playing volleyball really hard). The bump kept getting bigger and more painful until, by accident, my hand was pulled back quickly (making a 90 degree angle at the wrist) causing a very loud SNAP. It felt like I broke my wrist for about a minute but very quickly I noticed the bump was getting smaller dramatically, and just like that my range of motion was coming back! Its been a couple days now with some much less pain in my wrist than before the bump was there and hopefully it stays like that
Any updates? I was at work and decided to do a pull up for fun and as soon as I went up and grabbed the frame, I heard a snap as well. I noticed the cyst move positions right after but the pain got worse.
@@TMHWarriorGaspy I haven’t had the cyst in my wrist nor any pain for at least a year now. IIRC the cyst came back every couple of months but I learned how to make it pop by flapping my hand around violently. Hopefully it’s gone for good by now. Good luck!
I'm 17 and have one on my wrist (have had it for a year now). I have never put strain on my wrist by constantly holding a heavy object. My only theory is that I shift in my sleep and end up sleeping on that wrist. I don't know if that's a valid theory though.
I'm trying to figure how I got mine. I Bodybuild and PowerLift, have done that for years without any ganglion cyst action. Took two months off because of moving and getting settled in and woke up one day with this disgusting lump. Turns out its a volar ganglion cyst. I use my wrist a lot at work as I operate machinery that requires me to use a motorcycle type of throttle, so it might be that but I've been doing this for years also. I liked your idea about posture, it's insightful. I use good form at the gym and tend to sit up straight (no slouching etc) but I have had lower back pain for years, which brings me back to your posture and fascial tissue point. It seems to make sense, so after watching this I'm going to look into massage therapists and chiropractors because I really don't want to go under the knife lol thank you
It's been a long time since you commented but maybe my reply will help others...I'd say based on the video that when you trained at the gym some of your exercises helped you prevent that cyst (strengthening the antagonist muscles) likely caused by your job.
I have had 5 cysts in 3 on my right side and 2 on my left side (wrist) for 8 years now. I have had surgery once and probably a half a dozen aspirations. I cant wait to try using weights as my (cause/stresser is from the keyboard and mouse). Also I will try acupuncture as well hopefully I can finally get some relief.
I got mine 7 years ago, there were many factors to trigger it, alot of bench press, punching the bag without gloves(i knew being retarded is not beneficial but the curiosity and ignorance pushed me to find out ), alot of pushups and hand writing at that time. At first it was huge got it over night, no pain at all no mobility problems for a month. During a chest workout I felt a crack and it dissapeared completely. Only after 8 months I got it back, pretty small but hurtful as f*ck, that i could barely swipe my a55. Got some physiotherapy not helped to much it kind of healed on its own, I still have it but is small. 2018-2019 it came back a few times, after that until 2022 it never cause me any big issues just small discomfort wich usually disappeared after a day. The pattern i see, mine comes back after a period of pause from gym or any other activities that can trigger it , oddly. Also diet influence it alot, if i go with an inflammatory diet for a medium or long term, it gets back also other injuries as well. The way i deal with it, wrist bandages on gym or other activities that puts pressure on wrists, fix diet, if sore give it the time it needs to recover - that s something i was stubborn about in the past and man, the pain can be a hell, using pushup bars, focus on keeping wrist in a neutral position, use inflamatory gel, and get a new skill and learn to beat ur meat with the other hand, use supplements like multivitamins, msm, glucosamine chondroitin, collagen, this helped me alot, when i used them regullary, i barely got issues as long as i did not put preasure on wrist. Also a very important factor, training ur forearms in a way that u don t put preasure on wrist helps alot to strenght ur wrist. If u got any trigger factors like mine, let me kn if u'd like , i'm very curios.
Hi Jamie, I've been told my my GP that I have a ganglion cyst; it occurred after just resting my palm on my chin; its just underneath the third finger on the palm. Doing manual work, its not something I can avoid putting pressure on. Indeed it affects everyday activities too. Could you advise or direct me to pertinent information? Hope you can help.
I just laid my hand down on a cushion and put significant pressure on the cyst with the thumb from my other hand; seems to have had some effect; will wait till the slight swelling has subsided before coming to a conclusion. The location indicates a flexor tendon sheath cyst.
***** Thanks for the feedback; am already working on trigger points in my chest for my shoulder (as well as doing Yoga for it) so will look into that. I think I broke open the cyst as it hasn't been hard since I put pressure on it.
Only surgery gets rid of them and even then you can grow more. This is why people are looking for other solutions. I think there is a new surgery method involving disconnecting the joint connection that's causing the issue but I'm still looking into it so I have no info on the procedure.
He did say what to do to reverse it... Change what you do in your day that puts tension on the area ie repetitive...release the trigger points, he used a stick or said to go see an acupuncturist...👁 Then he mentioned strengthening the area..
I've had one in my wrist for five years now. Got it surgically removed... it regrew. The doctor shrugged and said "you gotta live with it now" Looking for any other options. It's in a spot where it makes bending my wrist impossible due to pain
Depends on where the cyst is , it is is in a joint, you can not do that. Mine was between finger joint and palm of hand ring finger, went and had a cortisone shot and it takes 3 weeks to go away and so it was a trigger finger they said it was from over working the hand. I AM A BAKER?😊
I got mine 3 years ago using hand pruners for 8hr straight two days in a row. :( I refuse to smash it but also can't get it removed surgically hopefully this will help.

Mine was through push-ups and forearm exercises holding a barbell over a bench in both flexion and extension. Either from overuse or my wrists/forearms not being strong enough. It’s been with me for probably 6 years now. Flares up so easy and takes so long to heal. Have to stop exercising completely because it screws with everything. It’s started to reduce in size now, I took a hiatus from working out for 2 years now and it’s just started to flare up again. Haven’t tried massaging the muscles in my wrist though, afraid of surgery because of the recovery time and the possibility of growing back. Need to see a professional though, have tried 2 physio’s in the past and they didn’t diagnose it properly before the cyst had visibly formed
How is it now? I have one on wrist below base of thumb from hitting ground hard on burpees and pushups. I kept mashing on it thinking it was actual bone or bone spur sticking out. It went down overnight.
I am dealing with this right now in my left foot. A week ago I had it aspirated but it's still there. It's huge and hurts. They want to do surgery if another aspiration and cortisone doesn't work.
I am not so sure whether to go for the surgery that the doctor has suggested or wait for a while, while it go away. but they say that if you don't remove it surgically it will comes back so does it ??
Can you get a Ganglion Cyst from a blow rather than activity? I know you're not a doctor, but I just bumped the inside of my wrist while vacuuming and noticed a few minutes later that a blue swollen area developed in that spot. It's not "painful" as much as uncomfortable. It feels swollen. I'm not overly concerned as I recall this has happened before and usually cleared up on its own. But this time the blue area is pronounced and more uncomfortable than usual so I'm wondering if it could be a GC or something else. So, even though I bumped it rather than it developing from a repetitive action, could it still be a Ganglion Cyst?
This video was helpful, I've never had this ailment, but I have one brachioradialus (forearm) that gives me fits during short bursts of exercise. No problems after I give it a stretch and a rest, but it prevents me from longer workouts with that arm. Nunchucks for example, my right arm can spin all day, but the left arm can only go a minute or so, then needs rest, I'm thinking that I need to try to fix this issue. If I pick up a hammer and hammer a lot, eventually I can duplicate the pain in the right arm , but of course the left arm will have that pain after a much shorter period of time. Brachioradialus is the larger group of muscles on the top inner area of the forearm. === Update: 20 minutes later; I tried to figure out what muscles might be opposing like Jamie mentioned, what I may have discovered is that the standard forward spin on a nunchuck would produce the pain in a short time, but the underhand spin seemed to be pretty much problem free, so I did a hundred of those underhands to try and balance the strength of those opposing muscles. I also tried some light weight curls. I have been stretching that Brachioradialus for a week or so, cause someone else said that would help, I found that it didn't seem to help me, but this method I learned from this video to find the opposing movement and strengthening that area might help, I think this might be the case for me. This forearm problem that I'm talking about started about 6 months ago, during many kinds of activities, even wringing out a washrag , or using a towel to dry off, simple lightweight activities, but just in that one arm, and odd issue I think, but there has never been any pain at all , so long as I'm not using the arm, lol.
The method I did was using a book at 12 or 13 one of my friends in the group home i lived in slammed it on my hand. It never came back and those medical doctors always just want money and don't want you to figure it out on your own. I will always try and use remedies.
I got one from hitting ground hard doing burpees and push-ups. It was hard so I thought it was my wrist bone sticking out til I started mashing on it & it went away.
I got it two years ago by wearing a gold bracelet during a job at Little Caesar’s and I think doing the dishes by hand there started it. But one day I was taking out a sheet of dough and this girl that worked there had an aluminum sheet behind me and i hit my elbow there really hard and it hurt bad 😭. The next day I noticed the ganglion cyst on that same arm but on my wrist. Keeps coming back and it’s usually accompanied with pain. It’s pressing the nerve there.
I got this on my wrist by falling over but its not a soft bump, it feels like a bone bump,, its been several months now, i feel disgusted by how it looks, im left handed but i got it on my right wrist
my cyst is on my foot on the side and i don't know what activity is causing it but each the cyst comes up it gets bigger and more painful and causes my toe to go numb from the pressure .
hi, i was in the bath last week and had the water really hot as i was cold and as i moved my foot it popped under the skin the pain went away but my foot is swollen still , seen my GP and she said the swelling will take a few weeks to clear.
The vast majority of these cysts occur on the back of the wrist. Therefore, the vast majority of info out there on how to correct them is geared towards that area of the body. TOO BAD FOR ME, because my cyst is on my palm, just below my ring finger! I am having it surgically removed because I can longer perform any pulling exercises in the gym without severe discomfort.
4:26 for the actual topic...you're welcome.
Thank you.

Sanjana Antony did the Epsom soak give full time solution for your problem.
Controlled exercise means?
Thank you Jamie. Was about to attempt to drain mine but found your video. Went right to your step two with the trigger release just diggin in my forearm with my thumb to release the tension and in about 3 min my cyst decreased about 75%. Thank you again.
I got this by doing push-ups
Same here, any cure for it please.
Yep. Same.
Same in here but if i stop doing push up its goes away. So I was right something to do with the push up then. It came back i just barely done any push up and it's bloody painful

Thanks for the information! I do believe my cyst began with bad posture using my laptop in a recliner. Thanks again!

Absolutely love your vibe, have yet found a more helpful video yet. Much love and much appreciated, Jamie!

Better hope you didn't cause more damage... 🤦🤦
Awesome. I feel validated. Just thinking about what this thing actually is and why it’s there. I know why but needed some how to undo it.
Great question! Sleeping in twisted ways can definitely cause problems or make them worse.
Quick Recap:
1) Find the activity which was responsible for the problem and eliminate it.
2) Work on your trigger points (with Stick, massage, acupuncture)
3) Stregthen the antagonists
4) Find a therapist who is workting with you on your body and posture (rolfing)
I consider the latter good advice and would like to add that problems like this cannot be solved "locally".

But have your cysts gone and stayed away? 🎉
Smh 🤦🏻♂️
Sounds frustrating, but at least they go away on their own.

I had this since I was 12 year old when i was in primay school. But when i was in high school ( my age was 18) i used to play volleyball a lot and then one day the cist was gone. I really don't know how, maybe the volleyball or may be not. I didn't took any medicine or anything extra to treat it.
Use a hair tie to strengthen the flexors.
Is it better? Did you have surgery?

Dude you can get it drained with a needle by a doc, but most of the time that does not get rid of it, you have to get surgery, it freaking sucks man I have dealt with so much pain for 9 years it gets worse and worse every year, now I am finally getting surgery, can not wait for it to be gone!

Good luck!

I have it on outside part of the wrist. What exercises do you recommend?
It seems to make sense, so after watching this I'm going to look into massage therapists and chiropractors because I really don't want to go under the knife lol thank you
@@JamieSDreyer And needless to say, we can't overlook the aging process. I'm sure that, in at least in some cases, that factors into it.
Also I will try acupuncture as well hopefully I can finally get some relief.
mine is hard feels like its bone and doesnt move at all
is this still a cyst?
It hurts when ı perform bench press
Great job Mac. See you at Paddy's Pub.
Thanks for the details. It all makes total sense. Keep up the good work.
I got mine from going to the gym 2 years ago and its still here
Use Voltaren cream And you will see that this cream works
I thought this was a video on how to get rid of a ganglion cyst?
Only surgery gets rid of them and even then you can grow more. This is why people are looking for other solutions.
I think there is a new surgery method involving disconnecting the joint connection that's causing the issue but I'm still looking into it so I have no info on the procedure.
He did say what to do to reverse it...
Change what you do in your day that puts tension on the area ie repetitive...release the trigger points, he used a stick or said to go see an acupuncturist...👁
Then he mentioned strengthening the area..

Looking for any other options. It's in a spot where it makes bending my wrist impossible due to pain
@Gotti Junior what did you vover it with?
Depends on where the cyst is , it is is in a joint, you can not do that. Mine was between finger joint and palm of hand ring finger, went and had a cortisone shot and it takes 3 weeks to go away and so it was a trigger finger they said it was from over working the hand. I AM A BAKER?😊
I think its because I was putting my wrist straps on way too tight before doing heavy bench press
Can you do a video for a person who does tin work? Like HVAC tech with ‘tinners hand’. A bit more than texting, typing and mouse use.
If it's from a computer mouse, would "wrist winds" using something like a "wrist blaster" with palms facing up be good?
They could help balance the muscles. I’d also do some self massage on the wrist extensors.

This video was helpful, I've never had this
ailment, but I have one brachioradialus
(forearm) that gives me fits during short
bursts of exercise. No problems after I
give it a stretch and a rest, but it prevents
me from longer workouts with that arm.
Nunchucks for example, my right arm can
spin all day, but the left arm can only go a
minute or so, then needs rest, I'm thinking that
I need to try to fix this issue.
If I pick up a hammer and hammer a lot, eventually
I can duplicate the pain in the right arm , but of
course the left arm will have that pain after a much
shorter period of time. Brachioradialus is the larger
group of muscles on the top inner area of the forearm.
===
Update: 20 minutes later; I tried to figure out what
muscles might be opposing like Jamie mentioned,
what I may have discovered is that the standard
forward spin on a nunchuck would produce the
pain in a short time, but the underhand spin
seemed to be pretty much problem free, so I did
a hundred of those underhands to try and balance
the strength of those opposing muscles. I also
tried some light weight curls.
I have been stretching that Brachioradialus for a week
or so, cause someone else said that would help,
I found that it didn't seem to help me, but this method
I learned from this video to find the opposing movement
and strengthening that area might help, I think this might
be the case for me.
This forearm problem that I'm talking about started about
6 months ago, during many kinds of activities, even wringing
out a washrag , or using a towel to dry off, simple lightweight
activities, but just in that one arm, and odd issue I think, but there
has never been any pain at all , so long as I'm not using the arm,
lol.
my cyst is on the side of my foot so walking has to be the cause , not sure how to deal with it .
Burpees killed my wrist back when it was messed up. All better now?
What about hanging from your wrists to release tension?
I got it two years ago by wearing a gold bracelet during a job at Little Caesar’s and I think doing the dishes by hand there started it. But one day I was taking out a sheet of dough and this girl that worked there had an aluminum sheet behind me and i hit my elbow there really hard and it hurt bad 😭. The next day I noticed the ganglion cyst on that same arm but on my wrist. Keeps coming back and it’s usually accompanied with pain. It’s pressing the nerve there.
I got this on my wrist by falling over but its not a soft bump, it feels like a bone bump,, its been several months now, i feel disgusted by how it looks, im left handed but i got it on my right wrist
this is the worst I have to deal with being skinny and not being able to lift weights cuz of my cyst 😭
And I’m also a football player my position recited use of hands to catch the ball 😭 this is just sad
what have you done to fix it
my cyst is on my foot on the side and i don't know what activity is causing it but each the cyst comes up it gets bigger and more painful and causes my toe to go numb from the pressure .
hi, i was in the bath last week and had the water really hot as i was cold and as i moved my foot it popped under the skin the pain went away but my foot is swollen still , seen my GP and she said the swelling will take a few weeks to clear.
Sorry but I'm so distracted by your good look's ! What did you say again ?
Aww, shucks.
Hope it went well! I just developed a cyst in the same spot. I type a lot at work & I think it’s from the way I recently propped up my keyboard.
How about a hair designer what would you suggest it's right below my thumb on my wrist
