- mind the marked tiles for the simplest Vorkath kills
Gear: RCB + Salve ei + EVoid, ruby bolts (e) equip w/diamond (e)s in inv
Don't forget! Slayer staff set to autocast Crumble Undead, prayer pot, range pot, antifire, some sort of antipoison at a minimum
Set quick prayers to Protect Range + Rigour/Eagle Eye
Switch OFF run at the start of the fight
Only take 1 sip of antipoison to heal from venom to regular poison
I've killed Vorkath over 800 times and I learned some things from this video. Such a clean guide well done.

Only comment is to walk further in that back row during acid special, otherwise agree that I learned a lot and Vorkath was much easier after this video.
Very good guide! But one thing I experienced is that the “safe” tiles behind the range spot to stand aren’t always safe. Sometimes there is venom on these too!

This guide is a godsent, I tried many bosses with many guides and always died way too often. Watched your guide once, died on my first attempt, understood to absolutely never stop during acid special and now I am breezing through those kills, thank you so much!

Okay, some tips for everyone trying:
(I first watched this trying to beat DS2, I couldn’t kill vorkath for the death of me)
I’m at 50 kc now, two heads and only died about 4 times. (Honestly)
Inventory. Don’t worry about food too much, most of your deaths will be from getting KOd by either the fireball or the slime phase and walking, not by running out of food. Get your potions..
X diamond bolts, prayer p, super antifire p, Ranging p, slayer staff, prayer p, anti venom, and a random heavy food.. then all food (whatever you use, I personally went shark, karambwan) over and over until the last three, a bag for my runes for crumble undead, then a teletab to Varrock and water birth (fastest way there)
Count his attacks! Six, then on the seventh he’ll either use the ice bitch thingy (slayer staff and attack) or the slime bitch thingy (get ready to click back one and click away left or right immediately, if it’s the ice one, that’s good cause it’s easy)
Even while walking, if you click two tiles away you’ll reach away from the fireball just pay attention to what he shoots, all you have to worry about is the fireball
Hardest part for me was his green slime fireball phase.. use true tile on runelite and just keep walking and click away (left or right) when you’re reaching one of the green tiles
I literally gave up on vorkath for like a month (I’m a noob) but had to keep trying, now on the slime phase I can turn off prayer, eat or drink prayer and know it’s the easiest part because of confident I am on it
(Also! I never understood why people switched from ruby bolts to diamond.. ruby bolts deal a certain percentage depending on their health, but bc vorkath has so much health, you can easily hit 100s w ruby, but as his health goes down so does your damage, then you switch to the diamond defense breaking bolts)

If anyone else sees this with the same problem, the most likely problem is that you need to click at least 3 squares behind you, or the game takes it as you standing still for a tick and you get hit. Its best to just aim for like five squares away to be safe, and the game will never register you as not moving.

Amazing video!! To the other noobs out there, if you keep dying during Vorkath's acid special attack, make sure you are clicking a tile farrr away from where you are, and then click to the other side before you even get close to the title you originally were walking to. This will help with avoiding the dragonfire attack. Also, please don't be lazy, and use the Slayer staff to auto-cast Crumble Undead because it makes a huge difference.

He still seems to hit me when i move to back row i stay moving but when my guy turns around to change direction he hits me
Click farther away on the map
It's a true tile issue. You're clicking th other way too late. Your character will be on the next tile before you walk on it. If you click the other way too late, you will spend too much time on that tile. If you click to close you you ypu might not be moving away fast enough to avoid a brief pause on that true tile and get hit. Don't be afraid to walk on the venom a little. He will barely heal and it barely hurts. Just find a good stetch that's 4 tiles long or more and it's easy peasy.

This is the best guide ever! I have a problem with stress, so firt 2 tries I messed up because of that. I watched the video one more time, learned from my mistakes and had a good RNG as a benefit, finished with 3 used food and 68 HP left. Sins of the Father was another level, you made this fight easy as walking in the garden. Thank you mate, salut!

No need for the super anti poison regular anti poison works fine. Plus you never explained the whole counting attacks and special attacks seems like that's the most important thing to explain before even starting the fight

question, why do you turn your prayer off when casting crumble undead
To conserve prayer points since using crumble undead will always kill the spawn and I’m not taking any damage at that time

Hey, 1,200-hour noob here who's only just finished Dragon Slayer 2 for the first time. Two quick questions.
1. What plugin or RuneLite feature is used for the tiles? I see them in so many videos and images, but it's never been explained to me.
2. How do you know which special Vorkath is going to do? Does he alternate? Is there a tell?

Ok every other guide is trash. I didn’t know you could just walk his poison off. I see people “beginner guide” ok so tick perfectly without misclicking dodge his poison, walk, keep moving, and hit. Just fucking walk and that’s all I needed? Thanks ❤
You’re watching them woox walk, which can be done with both range and melee weapons like a crossbow, blowpipe, dhl, etc. However, that is definitely *not* beginner friendly; hopefully this guide helps you get your kills down easier!

this guide made this the easiest boss ever. First try no major problems, just occasionally getting hit once when vorkath starts the fireball phase and the casting crumble undead part is janky as hell for no reason, just doesnt cast even though I do it pretty quickly, happened twice. Ty for the guide
If you’re autocasting from the spell book, you need to cancel your current action of attacking Vorkath prior to using it on the face crawler. An easy way to do that is by clicking on the ground under your character before clicking on the spell. If you equip a staff that will also cancel your attacking action which is why I recommend bringing the staff to cast the spell so you don’t forget to manually cancel the attack action!
Yea just learned this recently lol. Also learned that post quest vorkath is a bit harder. What's a semi budget setup for farming the head? have a DCB and god dhide basically. Would that be good enough? Any ruby e bolts or something better? Or a blowpipe, have that as well
@@dowz0r if you’re just going for your first head it sounds like your rcb setup with ruby + diamond (e) bolts will be fine. BP is going for woox walking if and when you get comfortable with that advanced technique, but for now I’d stick to your crossbow

thanks to this guide I went from 0 kills to 27 in one day, I died about 4 times trying to push the limit of my inventory/ dragonfire ball misclick/ rapid fire misclick but those 4 times were all spread out, I really learned a lot in between. Road to at least 50 kills is on now!

I do not understand how you're hardly taking damage. Each attempt i am getting shredded by his normal 6 attacks, even while avoiding both specials easily. Setup is range void elite, salve ei, rotg, ava accumulator, ruby bolt e, anti dragon shield, blessed d hide boots. 80 def and sipping super def/anti-fire potion, range pray always on

wow.. I either really suck since taking a 2 year break or Vorkath got buffed. tried with range gear to build back my account and I couldn't come close to killing on the first try. Did take some acid as I'm still getting used to pvm movements.
this is awesome, how are you able to tell that you were getting the spawn/acid special?
The first special is always random so after the sixth normal attack I look for visual cues. Vorkath flinging his head up means acid, a white flame means spawn. After that the specials just switch back and forth, for example: acid - spawn - acid - spawn; or: spawn - acid - spawn - acid. Hope that helps!

long story short watched this, completed ds2, went to kill vorkass bc it was easy, died 3 times. Came back and realized I’m praying protect mage fml
used this video to grind out my 50 kills.
firstly had to kill zulrah, 300 chompies, 120 games of pest control for elite void, and on the 6th kill when it just got fun and get my first decent kill, i get the head.
its like the game knew i was ready to go dry af and spared me.

Yes, as long as you’re standing on the marked tiles while Vorkath begins his special! A side note, I’m no expert but I’m almost certain BGS > DWH at Vork due to accuracy, if you have it :)
