Hey man Vorkath was the very first big boss I got into when I switched from rs3. Haven't done him in years your guide helped me refresh my memory and I am gonna go ham on him till I complete the log. Thank you!
Stuff I would add: - For food, it's worth having at least 1-2 combo eats, probably more for lower levels and definetely when learning- dying is a bigger money loss than leaving food for drops. You can heal more during the "no DPS loss time" (when you first get frozen) with a combo eat, and healing 38+ with a 3 tick delay is still less DPS loss than 18 with a 2-tick delay twice. It also makes the player feel more safe when learning so they don't panick. Sharks are good. I see Manta Rays get brought up often as worth the cost for the extra 2hp, but you're better off using Tuna Potatoes as a 22hp heal to save 400gp/pop, since you don't need run. Even better bang for your buck is Sunlight Antelope. Heals 21 for ~800gp, but 9 of it is delayed. Since Vorkath has slow attacks, the heal delay doesn't matter. - Extended Anti-Venom+ is like 17k compared to regular's 15k, so it's worth just grabbing those- you'll end up saving more than spending on the diff- I assume this wasn't the case when the video was released though. - If Anglerfish heal 16 or more, they can be worth bringing a couple to overheal before initiating fights. 0 tick loss to heal is even better than 2 from Karambwans. They're better if you know about how many kills per trip you can do. - For range, since the rings are either very expensive, or not that worth it, Ring of the Gods (i) can help reduce the Prayer/Restore potions you need to bring, meaning more room for loot - Also for range, Super Defence Mix (if not using Bastion, which is pricey) is a great add. 2 doses are like 50gp, and the big defence boost does seem to cut down the food you need. On top of this, it heals 6, which helps offset the damage from Divine Potions. Lastly, it's nice because it opens up a spot for another drop, and is totally fine to leave behind if needed - Last, also for range, the bolt switch hp level can change as your range level goes up. At 96, they break even just under 300, but I'll switch at the first time I notice Vorkath is under 350, as switching when you have a free moment is better than trying to split your focus. For my level at that point, as the DPS is very similar, but no chance to lose HP means lower chance of having to eat when I don't want to.
Awesome guide, so good to have an updated guide for an old boss. I might also recommend the reagent's pouch and a pestle and mortar for anyone who's done their mixology. You can save inventory space by grinding the superior dragon bones to store in the reagent pouch! :D
Moving sideways can get messy imo. Here's how I wooxwalk with dhcb; You have to find a line where there are 3 safe tiles to walk on, starting from the wall. Click to attack Vorkath, that's 1 tile forward. Click to continue walking 2 tiles forward, then run back to the wall. Rinse and repeat. Another good tip when you know either special attack is incoming (while ranging) is to step to the wall as Vorkath shoots it out. For the venom attack, it seems that the wall tiles are generally safe. For the Zombified Spawn special, its benefit is two-fold: You already no longer attack Vorkath so your Crumble Undead won't be delayed. Secondly, you can not attack him while he is still invulnerable. Now you can repeatedly click him and as you become unfrozen and wooxwalk forward, he is once more vulnerable, so you are not losing an attack cycle (and potentially ruby bolt proc) to an invulnerable dragon.
Very comprehensive! Highly recommend trying out vork to any new pvmers that are approaching 90 combat stats! Vork is absolutely great to do on blue dragon tasks, as although you gain no direct benefit (slayer helm × salve does not combo), and the slayer xph is not great, you will gain an absolute ton of slayer xp and gold over the course of the task.

Whats your thoughts on using a prayer setup? Like devout boots and proselyte. Is it more advantageous to just go full dps or full servival? Stupid question but i dont have the gear right now and this worked in the quest for me
Prayer can be nice for longer trips, and saving some prayer potions, but at Vorkath specifically that's not super helpful. Mostly because your trips will be cut short from filling up with loot, you rarely need to extend trips. And having more DPS will get your faster kills, which will make up for the money spent on prayer potions (compared to using less prayer potions with prayer gear). So Prayer bonus is solid if that's all you've got, but in this case DPS is still better when available
