Oh, man… I personally vote for either Madagascar or, if that’s infeasible, somewhere in the South-East of Asia . They were two of my favourite regions in the *Simon and Schuster’s Guide to Butterflies and Moths Of the World*-a book I so loved that the binding fell apart-and I would be delighted beyond words to see those colour plates come to life. Even more exciting would be vicariously living through you as you discover and document new and rare Lepidopterans. This was yet another gorgeous video, by the way. If I were still able-bodied, and could afford it, I would be thrilled to join you for as long as you could tolerate me, and for as long as I could afford!

Don’t worry about the people, they always talk. We already know that you don’t hurt any insects. We know it’s your passion, your work. Just don’t pay attention to those negative comments. Enjoy your life, feel proud of yourself, feel privileged to capture the view of these beauties on your hands. All of them are just gorgeous, man. I have a story about a moth! On one day in 2022,august 2,A moth flew in my room. now,my window forgot to be shut,letting the moth fly in. it flew into a lampshade on my roof,and it got stuck. it knew i was its only hope or else he would turn into fried moth! 0-0 so i got a long stick,and the moth climbed on it and out. his wings were damaged,so when he tried to fly away,he fell in a spiral onto my carpet. i put my hand infront of him,and he climbed on. my heart spiked,i was so happy!! :D i put him in a temporary box,and i got a bottle cap from a recycled bottle and filled it with my own make-shift sugar water. it drank or well "ate" ? lol idk but yea he ate and he was hungry it seemed cuz the cap was empty. i named him Fern and he is a Splendid Dagger Moth (Acronicta superans Guenée) and for me in canada,AB,they are very common. i remember him still. RIP fern,my fluffy moth friend :(

@@BartCoppens I look well forward to them; in EVERY VIDEO YOU MAKE, I meet usually several species and sometimes in tired geniuses that I have never before heard of. That especially surprises me when it occurs within the Saturniid family, considering I’ve been obsessed with Saturniids since childhood. Since watching your REGUA videos, I find I have also developed a new affection for-and interest in-Geometridae.
