- Hey All, So from flying to Vancouver, embarking a cruise to Alaska then ending up in Seattle it is now the last day of our trip.
In the last video you would of seen us catch a ballgame whilst in Seattle and in this one we explore even more of this Amazing city.
It is our first time being here and we can't wait to show you what we got up to.
And yes sadly this is the last video from the series. Next up we will do a review of our trip and a breakdown of the cost to help anyone thinking of doing something similar. We will then be starting our P&O Arvia videos very soon
Thanks for watching, hope you enjoy 😁

Hey Everyone 👋 thanks so much for all your support with our channel ,we appreciate all of you. This is the last video of this trip. The next video will be a review and to let you guys know the cost of everything if you are looking to do a similar trip. Then straight after that we will be releasing a new series of videos from our latest Adventures. Thanks again, Kev and Stacey
How nice to see that you enjoyed visiting our city. Also amazing for me because I recognize every place that you went in the city. I am originally from San Diego. Another very underrated west coast city lol.. I live and work just south of the Seattle in Fife.
In my opinion Washington is aesthetically one of the most naturally beautiful states. But since you have already visited Vancouver, BC you already know how lovely this corner of the planet is. You both are so lovely and I am so happy that you had a good time here. I know that we Americans do things a bit different but you both just embraced the differences and rolled with them. Perfect guests. Happy travels and keep spreading the lovely vibes wherever in the world you go. Rich and Mila in Seattle. ♥
Thanks so much, appreciate the nice comment 👍
Places to go next time, have the clam chowder at Ivar's and you can feed the seagulls fries from your hands. Also, the Ye Old Curiosity Shoppe..both on the waterfront..and I hope when you were up in the Needle, you could see our wonderful Mt. Rainier..
Thanks so much for the tip 😁
It looks like the mountain wasn't "out" during your stay - when Mt. Rainier is visible it's spectacular. It's one of those things about Seattle that never gets old (like the Monorail and the Water Taxi). Reason to return!
Also, Seattle's most famous foods are cream cheese hot dogs (from a cart outside a nightclub) and chicken teriyaki.
Oh no, we would have loved to have seen it
I am glad you enjoyed your stay in Seattle.
You guys are a delight to watch. It does bring joy watching you both. You come across relatable and love your subtle humor. That chicken on a stick looked marvelous. Job well done, thank you!
Thanks John we really appreciate it
Thank for enjoying my city, loved your fresh reactions to places I’ve taken for granted! Your experiencing the Mariner’s game was priceless 😂. You guys are terrific 😊
Seattle looks a really good place to go,love how everything's relatively close ,definitely putting it on my list ,the food looks amazing!! That chicken stick , 😋 was drooling 😂. Great vlog ,really enjoyed it !!
Thanks Sara, and haha could just eat that chicken on a stick right now 😋
@@OneCouplesAdventure I don't blame you! 😂
To get from the Space Needle to Pike Place, it's a shame you didn't take the Monorail (the "tram" that goes past MOPOP) downtown to Westlake and walked down Pike Street to the Market. The Monorail, like the Space Needle, was built for the 1962 Century 21 World's Fair. It's relatively inexpensive and fun.
The “tram” you saw from the Space Needle was a monorail built for the 1962 World’s Fair. It was seen as futuristic at the time but now seems rather dated. Fun fact: when they do the fish tossing bit at Pike Place Market, they use the same fish all day! Tossing a fish like that would bruise it and they don’t want to sell their customers a bruised fish.
The burrito window just south of the magazine/newspaper stand has some delicious stuff. 😋
Thank you so much for such a great series. Im going to follow all your suggestions for my next trip!!!
Thank you both so much for sharing your travels with us. They are always so enjoyable😊 xx
I’m so glad I found your channel! Been watching your Alaska Princess Cruise trip and just now the Seattle. We’re going to our very 1st Cruise and it’s with Discovery Princess in mid August. YOU guys are great! Not only informative but also entertaining! Keep up the wonderful work. Thank You:)
Brilliant vid ,you guys are really entertaining and give great info into your trips.
Love your vlogs always! Thanks for sharing, it looks to have been an absolutely fabulous trip, safe travels, and I am looking forward to the next one!
Thanks so much
Hi Stacey and Kev. What a fun trip. Spending time in Seattle to experience the area is always fun, plus having good weather. That food 😋, you know I was wanting to be right there with you. Thank you for taking me along. Excellent video as always!! ❤
Thanks so much MaryAnn, hope you're well?
I'm from the Seattle area and the general feeling about Starbucks is that you're better off going to a different actually local coffee shop. A lot of Seattleites don't claim Starbucks anymore.
I'm a huge SBUX fan... have been for 25 years. However, I don't drink coffee, so I have no opinion on that haha. I live right in Seattle and I love that folks that visit always want to go to the roastery (or the HQ bakery). I draw the line at standing in the queue for the "original" SBUX. I'll wait at the market while they queue up.
I just love your video style! I'm from the US and I've been to Seattle several times and still found you video helpful! I'm so glad I found you! Thanks!!
Thanks so much, appreciate it and glad you found us 😁
love the vlogs ,you pitch it just right ,entertaining and informative. Keep up the amazing work and thank you for what you do
Thanks so much really appreciate you saying that
Thanks for the videos. Really enjoyed them it’s looked fabulous. ❤
You certainly make entertaining and very informative videos, never fails to leave me wanting to travel even more. Love love LOVE your format..... Really top notch stuff to watch, better than any TV show. May I wish you many more adventures, enjoy your life together and grab every opportunity that comes along. Just do it !! ❤👍
Thanks so much Vik that's really nice of you to say
Great video! You two are really entertaining! :) Love that you add helpful tidbits of info as well. I live in Seattle & am so glad u enjoyed ur time here. I look forward to watching your other adventures in other places. :)
Thanks so much for Watching, we loved Seattle!
Looks an amazing trip, you are so entertaining, we’re off on Virtuosa this week and I’ve watched all your vlogs on it again and it’s helped us so much, especially sorting things for the grandchildren 👍
Thanks so much Ann, hope you and your lovely family have an amazing time on the Virtuosa
A great vlog series to watch; just come across you whilst looking at other reviews. Really well presented, and your personalities shine through. Good to hear costs of things, as most folk never seem to mention that, and it's one of the most important things in reality! I shall be watching more, keep up the good work!! 👌
Thanks so much, appreciate the lovely comment
very good..and just to give you some trivia..the starbucks in Pike's Place Market, is not really the original. The original was a few doors down, but due to a bad situation, the company moved the store. So glad you liked it here
People always like to point this out... but it's still technically the first store... just not the original location. When I worked in retail back in the day (REI), our store moved to a whole different city... but we were still the same store (same number, same crew, etc.). So the SBUX is still Store #1.
Thankyou both for these amazing vlogs,I've enjoyed every one of them,I'm never going to cruise or visit these place's, I'm just happy to watch you😊xx
Thanks so much Julie for the lovely comment 😊
Love your videos, very interesting and informative.
Thanks so much Kerry
Well done, I'm glad you enjoyed Seattle
Great video!! We loved the tour, especially the good!! We’re going to Seattle in late July!!👍😎👍. Subbed!!
Thanks so much
Thank you so much for this. I’m so torn between a similar trip to this next year. I just want to do everything!
Thanks Katie and any questions about the trip that will help you out with a decision just ask us anytime 😊
Hi! I found your channel when prepping for my Alaskan cruise on the Grand Princess in September (2023) and I love it (and your accents) so much. You remind me of me and my partner. I've even started watching past videos while waiting for new ones from this series and you've made me seriously consider an Orlando trip in the coming years (I last went to Disney World when it was celebrating its 15th anniversary!). You need to expand your travels in Canada and come to Montreal! We have Starbucks mugs lol
Hi Briana 👋 thanks for the lovely comment and we loved Canada and definitely want to go back and explore more. Montreal looks amazing 😁. Not long till your cruise now 😍
Great vlog as aways, food looked great & yes you are very entertaining and enthusiastic keep up the good work. x
Thanks so much Wendy
Enjoyed your videos 😊
Enjoyed this. I live in Seattle and have not been to the Space Needle in years.
Fab vlog series. One of the best I've seen. You must have a huge kitchen for all those mugs!
Thanks so much Kirsty and no haha we're running out of space now. Will be throwing our microwave and toaster away next make room 🤣
Thank you both so much for taking us with you on your Alaskan cruise. We are now planning a trip for 2025 ( I know it's a long way off, but next year is booked. Iceland on Cunard's new ship Queen Anne) . Looking forward to your series on arvia as we are on board in September. Was hoping you would have been on board then, but not to be.
Hi thanks so much and you've got some very exciting plans to look forward to 😁
Thanks for the vlogs!! We're headed on our first Alaskan cruise (with 18 Caribbean cruises under our belt) in about a month. I think that chicken on a stick is calling my name!!! Great video of Seattle.
Haha that chicken on a stick. Oh my it really was delicious 😋 😍
I’ve really enjoyed this vlog series 👍 Hubby and I have just booked an Alaska cruise in May 2025 (round trip from Vancouver in Holland America Koningsdam) and we’re also off on Arvia to the Med in May 2024 which I believe you’ve just done so looking forward to seeing that series too. Well done guys 😊
Thanks so much and wow how exciting for you, some amazing things you've got to look forward to 😁
Great video we was there last year. Space needle impressive from a distance but very expensive for what it is. Enjoyed the Starbucks (queue only 20 mins) and got the mug! Saw the fish throwing and the horrible gum alley. Had an extra day so took a trip out to Bainbridge Island which was a great day out.
Thanks so much and if we were there another day we would of definitely gone Bainbridge Island for the day, heard its meant to be beautiful
Thanks Stacey and Kev, that was really great! I did Alaska from
Vancouver last year. A b2b and luckily had 2 weeks in Alaska. I’d go back in a heartbeat!! Would love to meet you guys at some point. I’m only 30 mins from
Southampton, so maybe on a cruise sometime! Take care!! Xx
Thanks Karen, glad you enjoyed your Alaska cruise too. And 2 weeks wow 😁. And yes lol I'm sure we'll cross paths cruising at some point
Hi really enjoyed this whole series . Thanks for taking us along . My husband also collects the license plates . Look forward to your next vlog series xx
Thanks so much and they are a nice thing to collect aren't they? 😁
@@OneCouplesAdventure yes my husband has loads as we have travelled quite a lot ! We also collect Christmas baubles from everywhere we go too and have a tree we call a memory tree at Christmas x
Great vids great serious ❤❤ such a lovely couple
Thanks so much Mick
That chicken stick looked huge...
I would definitely queue up for the 1st starbucks for 2 hours, all the merchandise looked cool
Absolutely love your videos , thank you, Alaska and Seattle is definitely on my bucket list looks amazing, trying to work out what you're accent is 😊 it's like a cross between Brummie and Scouse and I'm from three UK 😆
Thanks so much Neil and haha you're close we're from Stoke On Trent
@@OneCouplesAdventure My family centuries ago came from Severn Stoke, down near Worcester. Been in America since 1683, however.
I watch every video with envy and i hope to do some of these holidays you two have done for myself although as a solo traveller it will cost me a bloody fortune.
A fab video…. Seattle looks ace. No way could I have even stood on that glass floor in the space needle never mind lay on it… very brave
loved the Bezos joke from the elevator host. if theres one thing all Seattleites agree on its hating that man LOL
I’m dying. You got bbq and sat outside one of the really great seafood restaurants in Seattle to eat it. 😳
These videos of your travels to USA are great. I hope you get to spend some time in my state ND. I'll give recommendations of where to go.
We'd love to visit there one day
Looks like You've had a wonderful time
Thanks Gary 👍
Really good vlog series.
I'm sold on the hotel because of the arcade classic table machine 😊
Haha yes we had a few games of that
What a great package this is exactly what we are looking for, could we ask what package you went for and when did you go. Again great videos easy to follow its great to see a local couple down to earth doing what you enjoy😊
Thanks so much and the next video we have going out might be useful for you then as we explain how we booked it all and how much it all cost
That bagel dog looks divine.
It was amazing lol
The sticky honey chicken thing on a stick looked delicious!
Oooo it was lol 😋
That food looks delicious. I want to go to Seattle just for one of those sandwiches 😂
I’m not keen on those tall buildings,I would have passed going up there. Safe travels.
Welcome to Seattle! Hope you were able to hit up some good food spots!
Thanks we loved Seattle
@@OneCouplesAdventure let me know if y’all ever come back. Would love to do a collaboration video
This is pure torture. Im on a 3 day fast and you two keep showing the most scrumptious food. Im not sure how i came across your vids, but im regretting it. Sooo hungry😢
Oops sorry 😆
Awesome to see some fellow brits staying at this hotel. I'm visiting seattle in September with my dad for a 40th birthday trip and I cant wait. We have booked to stay at the hotel five pineapple aswel. How was it there? Was it a decent hotel and what was there area like? was there any decent cafes for breakfast near and any supermarkets close? and was it easy to get to the space needle area where the museums are and also pike place market from there if we walked?
That honey glazed chicken stick looked delicious btw, I'll have to try find the place where they are 😊
Hi hope you have a great time when you go and yes it was a good hotel, we stayed 2 nights but it was within walking distance of the places we visited and it did seem to have plenty of places to eat near there too
@OneCouplesAdventure That's great, thank you for replying. It's great to hear, we are staying 5 nights so I'm looking forward to exploring seattle and the area around the hotel. I think pike place will be a first stop for some food for tea after we have checked in :)
Hi guys . What has been your favourite cruise you've been on so far, and where and how did you book your Alaskan cruise?
Hi we have a video coming out later explaining how we booked it and how much it all cost. And yes probably our favourite ship and itinerary so far but have enjoyed all the others too 😊
I like that hotel.
That chicken looked very yummy
😋
I can see my neighborhood across the water while you eat your BBQ beans!
How many days in Seattle would you say you need?
Hi we had 2 days including the day we got off the ship but we would of probably liked a third day just to see a bit more. 2 days was better than nothing though 😁
Brill thank you I’m just planning a California road trip that includes Seattle
As someone who lived in the city for 14 years, it depends on what you like. But at least ONE day (from 8am to 6pm) needs to be marked for Pike Place market. Two if you are a foodie or like funky merch. (Marketspice tea is a must, as is Pure Foods Fish Market - not the guys who throw the fish, but the place down the road with really good salmon jerky) That place is HUGE, bigger than it looks. Space Needle is a tourist trap, but the Science Center is all kinda of fun and the Center always has some kind of festival going on in summer. Woodland Park Zoo and the Aquarium are fantastic, but on opposite sides of town. West Seattle has some fantastic ice cream (Luna Park and Husky Deli) and great parks. Capitol Hill is where you can find the fun nightlife, especially during June (Pride Month), and you can get some fresh hot Dicks on Capitol Hill in the form of cheap greasy burgers. International District is just AMAZING architecture, history, unique shops, food, and drink
Heck, if you like a certain Malckmore and Lewis song, hit up the shooting locations; the Goodwill Bins on 6th (it's a sketchy neighborhood, though. Don't flash valuables. The Lifelong AIDS alliance on Capitol Hill, and the Fremont Mercantile. (The Cap Hill Value Village closed - gentrification).
Waterfront has pretty much recovered from the construction. Ivars Fish bar is iconic cheap eats and the view from the ferry is fantastic. Bainbridge Island will have nifty art, wine, small produce stalls. Bremerton is soaked in naval history, especially its peak in WW2. (Hell, if Kitsap split from the US, they'd be the third biggest nuclear power on their own because of the sheer Navy presence).
Take busses or light rail. the city was designed by three people who hated one another and the layout is crap. There are all kinds of phone apps that will help. Leave the driving to people paid to deal with the aggravation.
sorry only one word fantastic
from the crewies
Thanks so much Crewies 😁
Between MOPOP and the Soace Needle you should have gone to MOPOP.
I would disagree. MOPOP is fun and entertaining, but the Space Needle is iconic Seattle.
(19:45) You know there is a sick weirdo out there who periodically licks the wall of gum.
Hahaha, that's very true
Alaska is on my bucket list.
It's definitely worth it, it's so beautiful 😍
Hungry
I live in Seattle. "Wonderful City" is not a description I was expecting. I guess it's because I live here and see all the homeless encampments with the drug use on a consistent basis.
Believe me, it's wonderful compared to the absolute dive where we live!
@OneCouplesAdventure It's sad to hear and see.
Hey guys, awesome video, so cool you went to the first ever Starbucks! We are about to go on our sixth cruise and just love your content. Would you guys be willing to consider doing a Q&A video about yourselves? You could ask for questions on Instagram and it would really complement your growing channel. Loving your work! 😊
Hi thanks so much and yes that's something we could look at doing if people are interested
Sadly, this is advertised as the first, but Starbucks closed the first. Then saw the value of honoring the first location. They opened in a new location and called it the first. Sorry.
The sweet bbq chicken sandwich looked amazing! Wish we had more interesting food in the uk!
Haha yes definitely agree 👍 😄
I’m so glad I found your channel! Been watching your Alaska Princess Cruise trip and just now the Seattle. We’re going to our very 1st Cruise and it’s with Discovery Princess in mid August. YOU guys are great! Not only informative but also entertaining! Keep up the wonderful work. Thank You:)
Thanks so much and hope you have an amazing cruise
