I like the plan, slow and steady is good. Denmark in fall, wow what a great time to go. If you do end up crossing the Pacific, can I suggest the SOUTH Pacific? Island hope from Panama, Galapagos, Pitcairn, Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, a lap around New Zealand, then up the stunning East Coast of Australia, PNG, Solomons, and MANY little island nations in between. Especially if you've already done Asia. If you love the Caribbean, South Pac has soooo much to offer!

I think most people toss their boat on a dock and have the marina watch their boats! Michaela's drawing was excellent and Patrick's certainly was an attempt 😂 We had such an amazing time in Asia and really can not wait to get back! Thank you so much for all of the support and encouragement, we are so looking forward to a break but are also very much looking forward to getting back to things and the next steps of adventure! 🎉⛵
@@patrickandmichaela I'm sure I've seen it on some channels that you can still live aboard your boat in some docks, even when up on the stands out of the water. This gives amazingly cheap accommodation during the winter months if you're stuck somewhere that is dangerous in the water during wintertime. Patrick's was definitely "an atttempt" lol It can well be considered modern art and could be found next to pictures by Dali or Picasso hehe So how long before you can make your way south again? Hopefully not too many more months and you'll be allowed to get back to the warmth of the Caribbean?
Our insurance allows us to cross back south of cape hattaras on november 1st! We will likely be trailing that just a little bit as we wrap things up north, but are really eager to get back down south!

Congratulations, you now own the world monopoly on sail drives. If you’re planning on sailing to Europe in the future, you need to get the original invoice from when the boat was first sold. This will prove VAT (lVA) has been paid so you can keep her in Europe as long as you wish with no import tax since it was paid when the boat was 1st sold.
I don't know if it is a monopoly, but it feels great to be getting a spare! And yes, there will certainly be a bit of a headache involved getting the boat back to Europe if that is ever the case, just like it was a headache to import her into America. But either way, always worth it! Thank you so much for being with us another week! 🎉⛵

I thought you guys felt rushed for insurance reasons, to be where you are now. I did not think you guys felt rushed to see the world. You are on a boat it'll take so much time to get anywhere on the boat. Slow and steady is the way. Pick goals you both want that the audience may not expect/demand of you; and you will always have content while being beautiful humans experiencing a different lifestyle. I think you both will make it over seas but no time table is required.
We definitely felt rushed for insurance reasons! But also when you think of living on a boat for X amount of years with wanting to see so many places, it can be easy to think you have to cram it all in very quickly. As we have become more settled in and see it as a longer term thing, i think we have relaxed our idea of how fast we need to see things 🙂 Thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement, we plan to just keep living our lives and sharing it in a way that we are having fun with, but really appreciate you (and everyone who has joined our community) being here with us. I think most people toss their boat on a dock and have the marina watch their boats! Michaela's drawing was excellent and Patrick's certainly was an attempt 😂 We had such an amazing time in Asia and really can not wait to get back! @@patrickandmichaela I'm sure I've seen it on some channels that you can still live aboard your boat in some docks, even when up on the stands out of the water. This gives amazingly cheap accommodation during the winter months if you're stuck somewhere that is dangerous in the water during wintertime.
Patrick's was definitely "an atttempt" lol It can well be considered modern art and could be found next to pictures by Dali or Picasso hehe
So how long before you can make your way south again? Hopefully not too many more months and you'll be allowed to get back to the warmth of the Caribbean?
Our insurance allows us to cross back south of cape hattaras on november 1st! We will likely be trailing that just a little bit as we wrap things up north, but are really eager to get back down south!
I think I've seen the sketch of Patrick on the 6'clock news over a case of piracy 😂

Congratulations, you now own the world monopoly on sail drives. If you’re planning on sailing to Europe in the future, you need to get the original invoice from when the boat was first sold. This will prove VAT (lVA) has been paid so you can keep her in Europe as long as you wish with no import tax since it was paid when the boat was 1st sold.
I don't know if it is a monopoly, but it feels great to be getting a spare! And yes, there will certainly be a bit of a headache involved getting the boat back to Europe if that is ever the case, just like it was a headache to import her into America. But either way, always worth it! Thank you so much for being with us another week! 🎉⛵

I thought you guys felt rushed for insurance reasons, to be where you are now. I did not think you guys felt rushed to see the world. You are on a boat it'll take so much time to get anywhere on the boat. Slow and steady is the way. Pick goals you both want that the audience may not expect/demand of you; and you will always have content while being beautiful humans experiencing a different lifestyle. I think you both will make it over seas but no time table is required.
We definitely felt rushed for insurance reasons! But also when you think of living on a boat for X amount of years with wanting to see so many places, it can be easy to think you have to cram it all in very quickly. As we have become more settled in and see it as a longer term thing, i think we have relaxed our idea of how fast we need to see things 🙂 Thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement, we plan to just keep living our lives and sharing it in a way that we are having fun with, but really appreciate you (and everyone who has joined our community) being here with us.
