Kirsten, Very Nice..... Looks like my next elk recipe. Between you and Beau, you always have great content. Both of you have great camera presents. Easy to see you doing your own cooking show on primetime.

Do you know what temperature a crock pot cooks at. Do you think that you could substitute the crook pot for a sous vide? Still keep the zip lock bags.

It looks like a Primo Eats. I got one from amazon with the case for $79 I think it was. Works great.

Definitely the Anova! I absolutely love mine but I use a much larger container that I got from a restaurant supply store. I like doing large cuts of meat. Going to smoke some elk ribs and throw them in the sous vide over night.

Absolutely beautiful steaks! I've never heard of a sous vide, but it makes good sense to me and seems to be impossible to overcook the steaks. No worries of cooking in the Zip lock bag? Oil from plastic transferring or anything?

Freezer safe bags only. You can overcook it. I made a tough as a boot steak falling apart tender. Give it a try and you'll get it quickly. I got into it because we're raising Muscovy ducks. They can get as tough as a boot pretty quick age wise. They are like flying cats. Serious claws on those webbed feet.

Nice! I’ve never had that type of cooking. I enjoy you sharing so many different types of cooking and recipes. Tell Beau that it’s time for us to try our first batch of pickled eggs and sausage! We’ll let you know how that turns out. 😉😁👍❤️🇺🇸

What I wanted to see was a close-up of the sliced meat to judge doneness and evenness of the cook!!!
