I'm back after watching the video, Detail wizard, Mildolse. I hope you are always happy with your family, especially your cute babies. I can't speak English well, so I have no choice but to leave a message like this. ^^ I'll come in from time to time and watch fun videos and heal with llamas. I hope your family is always healthy.

Thank you so much for producing this channel. I’m getting my first llama as protection for my goat herd in a couple weeks. You’re saving me! So much helpful info. Keep it up!

Our llamas live with our pregnant heifer. Was a little nervous but you’re right, the llamas don’t care one bit. They also have some goat friends. Llamas are great.

I have just bought a 6 month old alpaca that has been halter trained but I am struggling to get him to walk on the lead. Do you have a video or are you able to advise the best way to get him to actually start walking on the lead please?

We’ve had our llamas for probably 10 years now. We originally got 3 females, one who had a baby with her, and another who was bred. Long story short, after the bred llama gave birth in a storm during the time my parents put a male in the pasture, and the male killed her baby.
Years after that, about a year and a half ago now, they got another male to breed to the three females. He bred two and killed the one who wasn’t ever bred when we got her. He also killed our mini Jenny donkey we’d had for over 10 years.
The llama lady came out to see and said he tried killing her and advised my parents put him down, which they did.
Fast forward to about 7 months ago, my parents moved and the llamas now share 50 acres of good grazing land with three donkeys and 10 goats. The two llamas had their babies and then they bought a bred female who soon had her baby. Everything was going fine.
Until my mom saw buzzards circling two days ago and found the original llama who’s first baby was killed 10 years ago, laying dead, her basically weaned baby with the other two mothers and their babies. She swears that either a mountain lion attacked or a group of dogs. The llama was missing the rear quarter and stomach was ripped open.
We live in east Texas and there are mountain lions but I’ve never heard any stories of them actually doing any harm. Never would have thought my llamas would be killed by one in their own pasture, at their own pond.
