- I took the Triumph Bonneville T120 out to Derwent Water to try out my Derwent pencils, it's been a while since I've drawn anything.
Better than that, the roads to get there and back are sublime.

I’ve commented before but feel compelled to comment again. For me, being a motorcycle rider (and an owner of two Triumphs) without words these videos really capture the essence of what a ride out into the country and nature is about. Thank you again from Queensland Australia Matt. Great job!

As another Aussie, South Australian Triumph rider (08 - T100), I fully agree with your comments. These videos are visual and aural bliss, a perfect mix of music and subdued background exhaust note.

I seriously think your videos would be wonderful for tourism in the UK. Although I now live in Canada they give me a whole new appreciation of the UK. What type of goggles are you using - love the aviator style goggles!!!

Beautiful around the Derwent water, and I always think about what it must have been like when the Dambusters were training down the valley. I have the same Motone end cans on my Bonneville and I also wear Halcyon goggles!
You’re obviously a man of style! Yes I always think it would have been a sight watching the practice bombing runs, I bet the noise was phenomenal too.

That took me back. My mate lived in Blanchland and I used to ride my 60's Bonnie, silver tank with tank rack, around there a lot.

Glad to have brought back some nice memories. I can’t think of a better bike to ride around the English countryside on than a Triumph Bonneville (original or new models)
Except I now have an Interceptor and just watched another of your videos on why you swapped yours for the Bonneville!
Just happy to be out there riding again after a long break from bikes.
The Interceptor’s a fantastic bike, in a lot of ways it’s much better than the Bonnie, but for what I personally want to do with a bike, the T120 just edged it for me.

Very cool !. Makes me want to take my Bonnie T120 out -again- today…. The additional driving light is a nice touch. That was the only concern I had about moving from a dual headlight fairing bike to he single light. Maybe a good solution for oncoming traffic. Love the sketch !! :-)

У меня точно же такой мотобайк, такого же цвета ( только нет фары на дугах безопастности) и я так же по выходным дням езжу по маленьким деревенским дорогам с такой же музыкой в шлеме, с такой же скоростью и так же смотрю красивые места на природе, только все это в России….. все очень похоже…. Спасибо за видео, смотрю их зимой ( у нас можно ездить на мото с мая по середину октября - холодно.

we are riders of the same ilk...i take my pan watercolors and some microns with me and the bike for urban sketches. i just picked up a 2020 t-120 black in october of last year.
but ive been taking art trips on my vstar 1300 for years. anyways happy art to you.

Thanks Romere, hope you’re liking the T120 as much as I do. Yes I changed the rear suspension to a set of Hagon Shrouded shocks, they’re better quality than the oem and I think they look the part too.

The screen is from Motone Customs and the bags are a pair of Kriega Duo 36. So glad you enjoyed the video.
May I ask what exhaust pipe you have?
They’re Motone Saturn V’s.
Which one you prefer, Kriega Duo or, Cotswold Hipster Side Panniers?
I think they have different uses. The Cotswold Hipster bags are more of a day-trip bag as they really suit the look of the bike. But the Kriega’s are extremely strong, very well made & 100% waterproof, so for a longer trip I would choose them as I know I can rely on them totally. Having said that, I haven’t had any problems with the Cotswold bags and they’ve suffered quite a bit of abuse.

Police don’t seem that bothered, I’ve had them right behind me loads of times. It’s not stupidly small and I guess as long as I’m not doing anything to seriously upset them it’s probably not worth pulling me for. Though I guess one day I’ll meet a policeman having a bad day and get pulled for it 😁
