7:35 I like how it starts off with a victorious finish. A tone of "We did it, we finally did it." And when it got to 7:55, it reminds us of what it took to get there. The sacrifices that needed to happen to reach this point.
Your editing does such a tremendous job at making me FEEL. You put so much heart and soul into these, it RADIATES from your videos, and every time you upload I just have the biggest smile on my face. That was a fantastic video. I know a lot of people weren't fans of the ending but to me it hit so hard. Learning about how these people who had their civilization so long ago and how despite all their efforts and all their work, they couldn't stop their own demise. The End's speech about how everything will come to an end and you cannot stop that. the very last line "The End comes for you all" hit hard still stuck in my mind. sonic soaring through the cosmos like a shooting star... with the piano.. I actually teared up. It was just beautiful.
This makes me feel a child-like wonder for some reason, like that feeling as a kid when a game feels larger than life. You've mastered the art of tonal balance my friend, well done!
i clicked on the notif at frame 1 really love how 2:50 to 3:54 is showing Sonic's perspective (i think) - makes the whole power of friendship thing look way more impactful. and i think 5:53 is Sonic seeing The End as something incomprehensible, appearing more significant than a talking purple moon, and i love it. all 3 parts have been amazing, great job Al
Wasn't it confirmed that the end is whatever we think it is. The moon is just an expression for the player to actually visualize since for everyone it might be different things. Also in Japan the moon symbolizes the end/death

It could be in Sonic's eyes of either he saw someone else that may have killed him before (he mentions the end as a him). Or something that could devastate the planet which is something Sonic would fear of losing: his home.
I like that you visualize what the characters are feeling here a lot. I don't know why people hate I'm with you, though. It's a really beautiful song and I think it fits the final fight really well.

Yeah its not the most fitting for the Supreme fight, but its seriously underrated. It feels like everyone hates it, given how much they praise the "revisited" version.

I always come back to this Frontiers series you made, to always remind myself of how far we’ve come (mainly thanks to the movies showing SEGA sonic is popular and allowing Frontiers to be delayed and making sure Iizuka kept his job). This game truly has led to Sonic (X Shadow)’s comeback and it’s beautiful. This game seemed to realise what it would mean for us many years down the line. The start of something beautiful.
I've already played the game over multiple times; and yet this video makes me experience what it it was like the first time again. It genuinely brought a tear to my face. Thank you for making this. Absolutely astounding.
The way you handled the flashbacks before Sage's sacrifice made me so much more emotional than Sage's flashbacks. The way this video was edited really sums up how a lot of us as Sonic fans felt getting to this point. All of the adventures. All of the journeys. Seeing Sonic on death's door, ACTUALLY struggling. Really one of the first times in-game we've EVER actually see even him unsure if he'll make it out okay. As a kid watching Sonic always save the day each game felt empowering, and now as an adult seeing even HIM struggle is such a great reflection on our own lives and how everything seems so sure at first, just to get to a point where it truly feels like we've met our match. This was great. Even though I enjoy your commentary, the lack there off and just the footage itself really encapsules what I'm trying to say here. Great job!

Oh maaaaaaan this gave me chills the whole way through. Just perfection. The ending to Frontiers was a little rough in places but you really highlighted all the best parts with your editing!
This was FREAKING BEAUTIFUL, AL You've shown that you're really capable at displaying the emotion that was *ment* to be felt in a game really well back in the leimotifs video with '06, but this is a whole 'nother level. Now, Frontiers actually DID make me feel, but I kept getting reminded of the slight things they could've done better. Now this. You made the power of friendship cutscene actually beautiful and directly call back to and connect to one of Sonic's conversations with Sage. That is just WONDERFUL, dude! I'bve said this in a previous comment, but this kinda editing could seriously be used in a proper game, you know how to put the pieces together to make it the most satysfying thing it can be. And I absolutely love that you used the fanmade anime opening theme in this, its so cool... and that you put that montage in the Line n Learn portion. If you think about it Sage did go through a learning process throughout Frontiers and the fact you highlighted it here and in THIS spectacular manner? THAT IS JUST CHEF'S KISS, OH MY GOSH. Through all the discourse about various parts of this game, but also the valid criticisms too I sorta lost the way I felt about it. And this made me remember why I actually enjoyed this game's story. Thank you for making this 3-part series of absolute BANGERS. You are the BEST, dude!
This whole video is great! I especially loved the flashback part at 6:47, not just because of nostalgia, but for the idea that Sage analyzed his history to make the decision she did, and finally saw who sonic really was, a hero. Thus finally deciding to embrace sonics mentality of "love and miracles can defy calculations" before doing what had to be done.

You made Sonic Frontiers look like an actual movie and even somehow made the final boss (the most disappointing part of the whole game) look like the most climatic part of the whole game! I don't know how you did it but that was amazing. Can I just say... You did an amazing job embodying The End... You took the final boss that was flawed in presentation and made it actually feel like it was bigger than life... Like it was a force of nature... A literal way of life... With your images and videos of the Big Bang and the universe and cosmic music made me feel like The End is a real thing out there in space... The End literally felt the Cthulhu... And I had LITERAL goosebumps when it said "THE END COMES FOR YOU ALL" showing its title card... Im happy this video gave The End a better introduction and representation then the game (as great as the game was)

The ending was very rushed, but I'm one of the few who really loved The End. That thing terrified me as I thought deeper into what it even was. That said, this was _really cool,_ ALtheBoi. I enjoyed it immensely.
Yo, this was beautiful man. Sonic's revival was handled way better the way you cut it together and everything after 6:10 went so hard. I am so happy to be a Sonic fan right now.

You know that representation of The End was pretty bad ass. I mean, we see like a huge red eye, which is part of its true form (and not just a sentient moon shooting all kinds of stuff at you). If the end is going to be reworked in the dlc, I hope it's something like that 😅
I am just speechless. This makes me love the game more. While people were disappointed about the final boss it dropped so much more about the more stronger beings throughout the galaxy and universe. The End clearly is more than just some moon. The End takes a form of the moon to us so we can comprehend it as the moon in some origins symbolizes the end. This idea can also be pushed further when it comes to the daylight cycle and how the moon is usually seen at night and represents the *end* of the day. Also amazing work on the part where sonic gets fully corrupted. That part felt like an actual movie scene and the inclusion of I'm Here playing too, absolutely perfect. You've hit the nail on the head with this one. What an absolutely astonishing video. I hope you are proud of what you have made.

Out of all the Sonic Frontiers videos I've seen, this little series has been my favourite by far. These videos make the game out to be way better than it actually is and puts it in an amazing light. Not to mention editing skills that did NOT NEED TO GO THIS HARD! I love this game so much and as a sonic fan, it makes me proud to still be a part of this community. I'm honestly thankful that a video like this exists and you should be extremely proud of the effort put into it. The future is bright and no matter what happens we'll always bounce back. DUDE this remake of the final nearly half of the game is AMAZING, shows what could have been Legit crying at the Live and Learn with the end, It would've been super hype if that played and reflected back to shadow like they did the angel island scene. This game could have been SO MUCH MORE with the hype at the end! Awesome work man, they should've used Vandalize for that final boss as well for sure, with the flying giganto! So forgettable I forget their name.
The Editing in this video is what I aspire to do one day. I loved every single second of this video, and all of the little callbacks to previous Sonic games in it. This video is truly a masterpiece, and will likely forever be one of my favourites! Keep up the amazing work, Al!

I don't feel like anything we got in Frontiers's ending was BAD... it was just not enough. There could have been so much more. Your edit gave us that. It gave depth and emotion and effort to Sonic's recovery from Cyber Corruption. The scene of Sage flashing back to everything she's seen of Sonic as she prepares to sacrifice herself to save him as well as the world was a HUNDRED times more affecting than the canonical one we got on Chaos Island, of her and Eggman. You underscored the best parts of The End's monologue, and your use of Live and Learn was ABSOLUTELY INSPIRED. (Was that you singing? It was amazing, if so.) Thank you for sharing this with us!
So, here you have me, Mr_Switch doing my at this point monthly AltheBoi video marathon (aka being an AltheBoi connoisseur) and right as I finished, dude uploads And ends this beautiful 3parter of a Let's Play/Comedy/Essay/edits on the level of Breaking Bad TikToks (I'm not joking when I am saying that as a compliment) series You really managed to make this kinda not that good of an ending, well, good. I recently finished Sonic Frontiers, and I have to say that it has become one of my favorite Sonic games, and this video honestly reflects how beautiful this game is, even with it's issues. It's a really great narrative and concept, and let's not forget how the music is amazing not just how it's made but because they all work so well for the story as well. When I hear the censored version of Vandalized, specifically when it says "fight the pain away, my head is in ruins" (I'd rather go with censored mostly cuz I don't know what to say about the og, not that i don't mind it but this one just feels much more right for the game) it just feels like how Sonic probably feels inside even if he looks so confident, so happy and smiling. He still has emotions, he still is "human" so it's understandable that he's hurt by all this, and how the game shows that he keeps going no matter how badly hurt he's getting, the song kinda gives it that effect I'm probably just rambling here, just wanted to share a little bit of my opinion seeing how this video kinda opens the doors for that. And if anyone wants to add to this or say something else about it then definitely would be great. Great job ALtheboi, it's an amazing edit, and yes, I must agree with you, this game is JUST the beginning of something beautiful

The ending was very rushed, but I'm one of the few who really loved The End. That thing terrified me as I thought deeper into what it even was. That said, this was _really cool,_ ALtheBoi. I enjoyed it immensely.

You know that representation of The End was pretty bad ass. I mean, we see like a huge red eye, which is part of its true form (and not just a sentient moon shooting all kinds of stuff at you).
If the end is going to be reworked in the dlc, I hope it's something like that 😅
I am just speechless. This makes me love the game more. While people were disappointed about the final boss it dropped so much more about the more stronger beings throughout the galaxy and universe. The End clearly is more than just some moon. The End takes a form of the moon to us so we can comprehend it as the moon in some origins symbolizes the end. This idea can also be pushed further when it comes to the daylight cycle and how the moon is usually seen at night and represents the *end* of the day. Also amazing work on the part where sonic gets fully corrupted. That part felt like an actual movie scene and the inclusion of I'm Here playing too, absolutely perfect. You've hit the nail on the head with this one. What an absolutely astonishing video. I hope you are proud of what you have made.

Out of all the Sonic Frontiers videos I've seen, this little series has been my favourite by far. These videos make the game out to be way better than it actually is and puts it in an amazing light. Not to mention editing skills that did NOT NEED TO GO THIS HARD! I love this game so much and as a sonic fan, it makes me proud to still be a part of this community. Legit crying at the Live and Learn with the end, It would've been super hype if that played and reflected back to shadow like they did the angel island scene. This game could have been SO MUCH MORE with the hype at the end! Awesome work man, they should've used Vandalize for that final boss as well for sure, with the flying giganto! So forgettable I forget their name.

I don't feel like anything we got in Frontiers's ending was BAD... it was just not enough. There could have been so much more. Your edit gave us that. It gave depth and emotion and effort to Sonic's recovery from Cyber Corruption. The scene of Sage flashing back to everything she's seen of Sonic as she prepares to sacrifice herself to save him as well as the world was a HUNDRED times more affecting than the canonical one we got on Chaos Island, of her and Eggman. You underscored the best parts of The End's monologue, and your use of Live and Learn was ABSOLUTELY INSPIRED. (Was that you singing? It was amazing, if so.) Thank you for sharing this with us!

I recently finished Sonic Frontiers, and I have to say that it has become one of my favorite Sonic games, and this video honestly reflects how beautiful this game is, even with it's issues. It's a really great narrative and concept, and let's not forget how the music is amazing not just how it's made but because they all work so well for the story as well.
When I hear the censored version of Vandalized, specifically when it says "fight the pain away, my head is in ruins" (I'd rather go with censored mostly cuz I don't know what to say about the og, not that i don't mind it but this one just feels much more right for the game) it just feels like how Sonic probably feels inside even if he looks so confident, so happy and smiling. He still has emotions, he still is "human" so it's understandable that he's hurt by all this, and how the game shows that he keeps going no matter how badly hurt he's getting, the song kinda gives it that effect
I'm probably just rambling here, just wanted to share a little bit of my opinion seeing how this video kinda opens the doors for that. And if anyone wants to add to this or say something else about it then definitely would be great.
