You wouldn't believe how satisfying it is to be in sync with the Radical Highway Act 1 music when you speedrun it, it's so good it even helped me hold the world record for years thanks to the easy audio cues you can come up with
You don't mess with Yuzo Koshiro. Of course the streets of rage composer nailed the sonic 1 8-bit ost... Same goes with colors DS, Tomoya Ohtani himself sampled the original tracks in order to fit in on the DS, and considering he already had experience on the platform thanks to sonic rush adventure, he was the perfect fit even on DS
Mushroom hill zone from generations (especially the classic version) makes my head bop so much it decapitates

Bro, I literally love Sonic generations 3DS so much just for the big arms boss... when I got to that boss I felt so cool 👏
One of the most overlooked demakes is the Endless Possibility/Knight of the Wind/Sonic Heroes medley from Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games for DS, you should definitely check it out if you haven't heard it before. Absolute gem of a track and one of my favourites from the DS era.

I like some of Gens 3ds lvl remixes like Radical Highway Act 1, Casino Night Act 2, and Water Palace Act 1 & 2, but Big Arms is just god tier. Whoever made Big Arms 3ds track didn't need to go hard, especially for a boss that ends quickly, but im glad the music composer did. Bro deserves ever award for making the peak remix of Big Arms

So theres actually 4 versions of the Casino Streeet Act 2 music. The 4th version was from the Sonic 4 Wii Beta, which had all of the Mobile stages fully playable and finished on the hardware, but just didn't make the cut to the final game
