My 2013 has original belts and pulleys with over 160,000 miles i guess it's about time to do this before they start going bad. First year model 7.3s had a issue with plug wires causing a miss. New updated plug wire fixed the issue. If you got a miss i would start there.
The Duke says, it's not a shitty intake system. I have a 2023 Godzilla similar to this. When I changed my air filter recently it was clean enough to eat off. I suspect they did not put it back together right when they changed the air filter if they changed it at all. All that dirt in the intake means there's going to be trouble for the engine soon if not already. What did I teach you?
You bought a gray market "Canadian truck" - they're ALL built in Canada - and didn't expect to get screwed dropping an easy $300 on "70,000 mile maintenance".
A really really slight light miss. Yep. Probably a "bad plug". Has nothing to do with that POS engine being "dusted" with that dirt in the intake. Must be a SHITTY intake system if "having fun" puts dirt in the intake system.
It's a shame Fords have kind of been junk for about the past 10 years, good trucks before, but especially since the pandemic, they have nosedived. I mean you shouldn't have any of these issues at 70K.
7.3 are great trucks. We have alot in our fleet with no real issues.
Always nice when job goes as planned
Nice work

Oil changes are a breeze
Many "pulley" BEARINGS can be replaced for pennies on the dollar versus shitcanning the whole thing.
Here is my video on the 7.3. ua-cam.com/video/jgI_ZVqfOmE/v-deo.html

They all have sucked after the pandemic. Wouldn’t buy anything after 2017.
Anything made after 1960 is garbage.
A pulley or belt means truck is junk? Not in the four fleets I work on.
