1. I suggest you use this robot dog to search for pieces of a simulated air disaster. Crash an air veihicle somewhere remote and have this dog map the crash area and search for all components of the aircraft. 2. Have this robot dog find survivors of a building collapse. 3. Have this robot dog map ancient tunnel systems at archeological dig sites. 4. Have this robot dog map human trails in remote areas. Differentiate from animal trails. 5. Have this robot dog find objects placed in plain site, identify and catalog.
Diaster recovery would b a gr8 application. Sending GO2 in2 bldgs that can collapse @ any moment, would save lives when the worst can happened. Thx 4 sharing on Utube.
That is definitely true. This one lasts about an hour on one battery and is charged in about 30 minutes. We run the Robot for events all day and he is always charged!
I recently got one of these in my robotics class and they come with hotswappable batteries and for us we have 3 batteries which you can just slot in and out whenever one runs low
Sad news, unitree just released the Go2 and is cheaper and far more capable. Has 4D lidar as the main mapping eyes, 30% more torque and can balance on 2 legs while hopping! yep its pretty good.
Yes this thing is cute and all but there is no way I would ever let it in my house!!! Can you imagine the LEVEL of SPYING on you that this thing IS CAPABLE OF? If you thought Alexa was spying on you just remember that it could only do it from a stationery location or from the devices that it was connected to BY YOU!!! This thing I will call it a Vampire, has FREE movement throughout your HOME inside and outside and with the electronic and optical sensors that it has it will be able to map out your house inside and out, it will be able to see using video and hear audio and it could record both and send those recording to who knows where? Why do I call it a Vampire? For two reasons #1 A Vampire cannot enter a house unless invited by the owner; after the first invitation they can come and go as they please. #2 While a Vampire sucks your life BLOOD from you, this Vampire SUCKS everything that it SEES and HEARS about YOU and your FAMILY!!! Remember this thing is connected to the INTERNET!!!
Beautiful

These have actually been used for most of those purposes! My favorite is the search and rescue application.
Robot dog fighting isn't illegal guys.
LOL
Still waiting for someone to buy one and cosplay as soundwave or blaster!!
Oooh that's a good idea for a Halloween costume!

Battery life limitation is a big issue if used in the work place.

If we can charge our phones by sitting them in a pocket of our cars, why can't this robot dog sit in a corner to charge...smh
@@vnelson000 Some models actually can!

That's hardly sad news!
WHERE IS THE LINK TO BUY ONE AT? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Google "Unitree Go1". We have the education model with the detachable lidar sensor but there are much cheaper options.

But it's so cute!
Rubbish, old technology
