  • Durban Chicken Curry is by far the best curry you will ever find in South Africa.
    ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ CLICK FOR INGREDIENTS ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
    Chicken Curry is one of Durban's prime luxurious pleasures. Dissimilar to milder East Indian chicken dishes - the Durban Chicken Curry does not contain sugar, fruit, coconut milk or cream. This popular meal isn't for the faint-hearted as it is pungent yet so satisfying that your taste-buds will crave more.
    Do notice - this palatal satisfaction might be trailed by a runny nose & watery eyes - a sensorial spate regularly connoting a recognized Durban Chicken Curry!

    ◆2 cinnamon sticks
    ◆1 sprig curry leaves

    Better than anywhere!! I learned to make curry in Durban from our Indian friends when I grew up there. I have tried so many others since and this is still the best!! In my opinion, Durban curries per sé, cannot be bettered!!

      Harley Quinn India has their own way of cooking this dish and here in South Africa with a lot of Indian influence, we too have our own version of preparing it, especially in different cities within South Africa, hence the title “Durban Chicken Curry”. Yes spices originate in specific countries but methods of cooking are different.

      Garam masala is a spice that's used when making many dishes
      Chicken curry
      Mutton /lamb curry
      Steak curry

    • @Black182heart
      @Black182heart 5 років тому +1

      @@clintonpillay2423 garam masala originated in Indian subcontinent ( India, Pakistan, Nepal, etc) . So basically if you put garam masala in any other cousins besides Indian then that cousins isn't an authentic one. You can't say I'll put garam masala in Japanese dish and call it an authentic Japanese dish. You can't say it's an authentic Vietnamese pho by adding an Indian spice. That's my point but before that I didn't know durban chicken curry isn't an authentic African dish.

    • @clintonpillay2423

      @@Black182heart the point I'm trying to make to you is simply
      Many people use garam masala in their dishes
      I disagree with your comment that she is the only person that uses this spice for this dish
      In regards to where it originated from, it may come from those countries but the point is, we use it for our Durban Curries
