Another franchise that got either dash/run in the 90s before SF. Kinda weird how SF was so late to adopt some mobility mechanics, that even many smaller games got into.
Even though Groove on Fight improved the graphics and the gameplay, and Matrimelee as well (even further), these later games lost the comedy level the franchise had in the first 3 games. So in that aspect it felt like a step back.
I used to think the two refs were an attempt to help the game gain popularity by getting help from Kuroko from the Samurai Shodown franchise. Sadly that was not the case ...
The only thing good about this game is Range Muratas artwork for the player select who the company obviously hired for . Probly Freelance lol. The game itself is a disaster The engine and player art is awful . The level design is a mess. It looks about as amateurish as you can get for a sf rip off at that time.

凄い。お種に追い詰められて、最後は大逆転。昔プレイしていた時、しゃがんで歩いてくるお種は結構無防備なので、そこを投げるという全キャラ共通の攻略法で倒していたが、ここまで積極的に攻める勇気がなかった。
