    Thanks for the review. The decent amount of shots (without regulator) comes because this rifle does not develope the full power. The fire bolt spring is kept in a moderate strenght to ensure relative short valve openings. I have the intention to buy me one and you helped me a lot. Stretching the fire bolt spring, this rifle brakes the sound barrier with .177 pellets. BTW the air tank is removable. Greetings from Spain.

    I bought the .25 cal 3 -4 years ago and never use it. Reason being is because I started buying guns with regulators. LCS and Liberty’s,Avengers, Crown. Now it just collects dust. It’s a good 50 yards hunting gun but it’s so darn heavy. Shame that it only has about 400 rounds through it. Still at 200 bar even after about 2 years of not using it.

      @@OH8STN I did once and after a week it screwed up and even when installed the gun got quieter but shot around 790 fps with 25 grain pellets. I wanted more with a heavier pellet like the 34. It didn’t do that probably because the gun is factory stock and unmodified.

    Just picked one up for my pest work in some really gritty industrial places I service. Fit and finish on my Hatsan Bullboss is about on par with a '85 Yugo cab used for fleet service in the slums of Calcutta, but for where I'm using mine....I sure won't mind it getting dirty.
    It's been nasty with the weather here and I'm waiting to take mine out to sight it in and play with it a little before taking it on a job.

    I've been hoping for a review on this one! Thank you!
    Edit: Heh. That damn fill probe. Had the same issue when I bought a FlashPup. Had everything squared away, pellets in order, chrony ready to go, barrel cleaned, etc. Grabbed the pump, and was ready to roll. Except...hang on, they forgot to send the adapter? Nope! They didn't forget, they just couldn't be bothered.
    The fact that the lack of the necessary foster fitting wasn't explicitly mentioned in the listing really irked me. Ended up ordering one off Amazon and was finally able to pump up the rifle. In the end, the rifle was sent back, regardless; the rail was so heavily canted that I ran out of adjustment trying to pull the POI left.
    For anyone who does buy one of these, PA has an Air Venturi adapter that will work on their site. You can find them elsewhere for cheaper, too. It's a 1/8" BSPP Female to 8mm Male QD. It is *not* NPT. You must find one that's BSPP.

    Great review!!! I purchased this gun just recently it will be my first PCP. I bought it for hunting Iguanas here in south FL and when I saw that you could make the safety to work as a manual safety I was like oh yes that's what I need. So the question is how did you do it and was it difficult? Could you make a video on the Modifications you've made to this particular gun it would be great! Iguanas are tuff lil critters and follow up shots are really important for a humane kill! So makin that safety to work in manual would be great!!! Thanks for the review I seen a bunch on this PCP and yours is the best by far!!!!

      @fin59shaw 10 місяців тому

      C'mon man! Why do you want to kill Iguanas? I've been in a lot of Iguana areas, I've never heard of them being pests or destructive. Maybe there is a reason, I always thought they were good. And fun to watch. Let me know if there is a reason to kill Iguanas. I'm not trolling, I never thought of Iguanas as a pest type.

    I have the Hatsan Gladius in 25 caliber since its release in 2016 , man what a thumper . Comes with 4 9 round mags . 3 extra mags can be carried on board . It shoots the JSB 25.39 grain with such precision ( wow) . Mounted a Hawk 6.5x20x40mm scope and a DonnyFL adaptor should I feel the need to make it even quieter . I have made my peace with the auto safety , its just second nature to disengage now . Most if not all Hatsans have this feature .Totally agree with your negatives . Anyone wanting purchase a Hatsan PCP should do their research first . My Gladius easily tips the scales at 12 pounds . But guess what I still hunt with it . Recently got myself a compressor so no more pumping , even though this can be pump friendly in my opinion . Thank you JC always enjoy your content .

    Big Hatsan fan here, mine is .25, to reduce weight I first tried a custom aluminum tube, they all were prone to leaking, so I put an AT44 short tube on it now can be shot like a pistol as the balance is right over the grip. Also cranked it up 50 + FPE for one mag of consistent hunting shots, topped with a UTG dot sight for quick targeting in dense Wisconsin woods.

    This is actually the PCP that I've been having my eyes on lately (again, due it's price). I did want one already a few years back - but still been not in my collection..
    I've been rold itnis a bit on the heavy side - but I do not think of it as a big flaw/con. The performance has been quite good for it's price - and if one gets an accurate one, then it oughta be all good. Read though some may have poor accuracy - probably due some poor barrel or something, but then a warranty replacement oughta be good to do straight away..
    Was a really good review of it. Silent indeed - and the ping was not loud either. I think you can get a Huma reg for these airtanks also - if wanna go and regulate it, that is..

I'd love to spend 2k on a fullpower Huben K1 - if I had the money that is..😁😁

Some people do say they have had bad experiences I am just lucky I guess but I filled out the forms on their website and got an email about 24 hours later. I returned their email that morning then they sent me an email saying a brand new Barrel would be packaged up and shipped out to me by the end of that day, I had it the day after that email all in all it took less than a week from my first email to having my new Barrel in my hands. Definitely being pretty!
    Why didn't you mention the hot swappable tanks?
    Anyway, it's almost identical to the Hatsan Gladius. Stocks are the major difference. I bought the .25 and couldn't be happier for the money. I recommend talking it apart and cleaning it up before shooting. Also punch the barrel until it comes out clean. It's possible to add a regulator if you like. There are two available. Ultimately my favorite feature is the hot swappable tanks. Rather than taking a pump with me to the range, I take a second filled tank swapping them out at the range.. That's pretty Innovative I think.
    I love your videos but think you need to get off the bench and get outside with these rifles. Investing a little bit more time into the review would have exposed some features you failed to mention in this video.

    I have a .25 cal and it's a great gun but in my opinion all rifles (PCP) should get on board with the foster fill on board. Thanks for sharing!!

    CRIKEY! FOUR SLUGS THROUGH THE SAME TARGET HOLE WITH THE FIFTH JUST SLIGHTLY OFF THAT SAME HOLE! AT FORTY YARDS ON A FOUR INCH TARGET! PARDON ME FOR MY EXCITEMENT, BUT THAT IS VERY, VERY IMPRESSIVE, IMHO!

      I am not a fan of their Vortex Gas pistons. Absolute sub quality with no longevity. The Spring piston is a much better option in the breakbarrels. I do however like their PCP collection thus far.👍🏻

    ok,, this is not related to this video, but i have a question, Christmas is coming, i have 4 gamo rifles, 1 hatsan, 1 weihrauch, all break barrels, wife " hinted " at me picking out another, so, i would like your input, the gen3 gamo bone collector swarm, the new gamo hunter extreme pro, the diana 350 magnum panther, or the diana 48, all in 22 cal, thank-you kind sir

    • @AirgunDetectives
      @AirgunDetectives  Рік тому +2

      If you can swing it the Diana 54!! Nothing is even close. That is a zero recoil side lever. I will do a review on mine in the upcoming year. I have the red synthetic stock. You get PCP accuracy out of it. Same power plant as the Diana 48 but it is setup with a stock that obsorbs the recoil. Incredible rifle!
