So I'm back here playing this in a loop. One of my last 2 red eared wax bill finches past on, after 8 years or so., but now his Buddy that he was has been with for those 8 years is now alone.....and has been calling for his friend all day and it's breaking my heart. 💔
Playing this has made him stop calling out, hopefully he feels better hearing it .

Wow I've never seen footage of them in the wild I have red-eared wax bills at home in a very big cage sometimes let loose in the apartment but seeing them outside would be nice

Hi Jason. Juv Common Waxbills and Juv Pintailed whydhas do look similar, however the latter have red colour on the base of the beak, which the former do not. Good observation none the less and I really had to look into it. Have a good day.
