Hot Tub Repo Episode #2 Tennessee The Spa Guy Nashville Claimed Tub was in Another State

- In this video The Spa Guy repos a tub in Tennessee. This guy would not make the payments even after giving him more than a year of grace to catch up and many attempts to collect and he even refused to give the tub back claiming that he had moved the tub to Saint Louis Missouri. Under the Lease Purchase Contract moving the tub wihtout my knowledge is illegal and is a Class C Misdeamenor which carries up to 30 days in jail. We did some investigation when he stated the tub had been taken to another state and had someone local go look to see if the tub was there and when they stated it was I loaded the spa dolly and the adventure began. After talking and texting with this guy I figured out he was a liar and was probably lying about moving the tub and I was right. I went that day and loaded the tub but only after alerting the Sheriff's Department about what I was there to do. I got in and out it took about 1 hour and 10 minutes which is slow but I was by myself and the tub was heavy as well. It was running and 104 degrees upon arrival contrary to what he claimed. He claimed it hadn't run since he got it and thats why he wasn't paying. Anyway you will see his texts in the video that claim it didn't run and also that claim he moved it to St Louis. I also expected to him claim I damaged his truck so I took pictures and video all the way around the truck so I could prove otherwise. I expected this low life person to stoop to those levels so I covered myself. Anyway enjoy the video and to all of you bleeding hearts that think I should not be so mean as to get a hot tub back that wasn't being paid for, save your comments and spend your time seeing if Obama will buy this guy a hot tub because I will not!!

I just found these hot tub repos, and I love them, lol. I do hope you have reliable help now so you don't have to go get them by yourself. I have repo'd a few vehicles in my past, it can get hairy.
Spa Guy I love your videos. This and the TV show where they repo airplanes are awesome. I worry about you going out by yourself to repo. Seems dangerous to me to take those chances. My prayers are with you and your safety. Oh yea I love your Elvis videos. Keeping his history alive and truthful.

I'm sure you are prepared legal wise and "protection" wise, I'm a remodeler and very impressed with how quick and swiftly you get your property out of customer's property. Feel bad for those customers that they can't find a solution to make up pymt. arrears. Good videos.

I hope he dented his truck up in an effort to make it look like you hit him. That would make your video with pictures of his dent free truck that much more entertaining. No matter, he'll probably be losing the truck next anyhow.
Jim that is a good point...He probably will loose the truck.. He is about 2 hours from me and he kept telling me he had move the tub to another state but I used some internet magic to see that the tub was still there and grabbed it... I can't say how I did it because it may implicate some people... He didn't dent the truck but is crazy enough to.. Thanks for watching.. Spa Guy

Spa Guy two questions. When you lease a hot tub or rent to own it to someone, do you run a credit or back ground check? Secondly when you go to pick up the hot tub do you check the serial number to make sure it is the same hot tub?
All the "fake" repos of cars, this is awesome. It should be a show on a cable network at the very least.
Question: Do a lot of people finance or rent to own a hot tub? This is 100% luxury, so people to think that is OK is silly.

judging from the green moss growing on the platform the tub was on, do you think the tub was leaking water? Maybe that is what he meant by it wasn't working

Some people are just stupid. If you can't pay your bills then u have no business with a hot tub. If you can than just honor your contract. You would then have no issues.

If you can't afford a tub like that you should do what I did, I bought a coleman lay z spa for $299 brand new.
Yep too bad thats not a Real Hot Tub..
They last for about 6-8 months before heater or seams go out. Averages to about $50 a month + electricity.
