Hannah Martin does makeup for the Royal Family. She was on hand for Kate Middleton on her wedding day and regularly does Carole and Pippa Middleton’s makeup for photo shoots for British magazines and for events. She also does other members of the royal family but is very hush hush about specifics, obviously. She has a big presence on IG and is very famous in the UK. She’s started with Bobbi Brown and was high up in that company before Bobbi left she’s sort of known for. A smoky eye. She’s lovely and does lots of lives on IG.

Fun trivia about artificial banana because I love those runts too hahaha. It is based off of a kind of banana that is actually now functionally extinct. Bananas are grown by basically just copy pasting them so they all are identical which makes them super vulnerable to disease. The bananas we used to eat were actually much sweeter and tasted similar to that artificial banana flavor. Unfortunately because it got wiped out we use a different kind of banana now that is not as sweet. And of course because humans never learn, we still copy paste it everywhere and it's also being severely threatened by another disease 😅

Yes 🙌🏻 The cultivar of banana that we see mostly is the Cavendish banana. My family grows different types of banana for that exact reason! Happy to see other botany appreciators in Kackie’s comment section lol

I’m so glad you’re loving the Givenchy foundation! It’s my favorite. I’ve recommended it a few times on your videos but there were SO many new skin tints and foundations coming out for a while. Glad you finally got a chance to try it.

i agree with you SO HARD on the dior rant. i heard so many amazing things from youtubers about their quints and for so long i was tempted to get one. after swatching them in sephora countless times, i kept feeling like all the darker shades looked like soot and all the lighter shades looked like chalk. i thought i was the one missing the plot until i saw your review and i was like FINALLY SOMEONE HAS SPOKEN THE TRUTH!!

The Victoria beckham bronzing brick in 1 is actually my fav too, I recently decluttered all other powder matte bronzers, and I’ve panned the lighter shade (which now I have to be very delicate with the whole thing which is annoying). I also use as somewhat of a blending shade with a bigger fluffy brush, but more on my cheeks, OR to neutralise a blush tone (or just make it more brown) OR almost like a setting powder if I’ve used all creams, feel like I might as well top with the bronzer if I don’t want to do a full powder moment (aka most of the time). The darker shade is nothing close to a contour on me but I can use as a more natural subtle bronzer, but it’s not surprising to me that I have used the lighter shade way faster (in fairness it does kick up a lot I feel like? So fairly easy to pan?).
So yes it is weirdly essential for me too but now that you say something I guess I understand why it wouldn’t be for someone else 🤷♀️ tempted to try shade 2 now too 😳

I’ve tried the Victoria Beckham bronzer and used it the same way you do and I love it! So I wouldn’t say get it for that but if you have it I think it definitely works regardless of skin tone. 😅

If artificial banana is a flavour option for something, 99% it’s the one I am trying. I had something recently that was the exact banana runt taste too and it’s killing me right now that I can’t remember what it was. Especially because I live in London (but am American) and no one else knew the taste reference 🤦🏻♀️

The Givenchy concealer is beautiful, but I couldn’t get a shade match. Dior Forever Skin Correct concealer has my heart because it comes in olive undertones.
Otherwise, most of what Dior makes can be found elsewhere in the luxury space.

Super agree! But sometimes others see people who are extremely opinionated and unapologetic in their opinions as mean or rude. Being a neurospicy femme can put us in positions where we are unaccommodating of others takes simply because these takes exist so far out of our reality. For some reason being staunch in our stance can come off as "mean girl".

I am exactly like you, in that I never see plot twists coming, I never guess who the murderer is, I don't even bother to try, because I already know I can't. It's probably because I focus on other things like performances, costumes, sets, editing, framing, color grading, score. All the things that have to do with building the mood and atmosphere, the aesthetic value. You could show me a brilliant piece of screenplay writing, but if it's not aesthetic, I won't enjoy it.
