Archeological Survey of India presented application for submission in the list to UNESCO. After careful evaluation and interviews and visits UNESCO inclueded this temple in the list.
Ever since then, hundreds of tourists from all over the world are visiting to see this architectural marvel. U.K. , USA , Russia , Vietnam , Australia , New Zealand , European countries like Belgium , France , Netherlands , Spain, Eastern European countries like Poland , Hungary , Belarus and so many countries.
Thanks to Honorable Prime Minister of India , Mr. Narendra Modi , to promote tourism in India.

Modhera Sun Temple is in Unesco's world cultural heritage sites list. ( UNESCO ).
King Bhimdev Solanki the 1st of Chalukya dynasty ( Solanki dynasty ) ( Suryavanshi dynasty ) built this temple in year 1027 , one thousand years ago. He also built Rani ni vav near Patan. Maru gurjar style temple Mandir . Maru-gurjar . Hindu Vastu shastra style Surya kund , Sabha mandap , Rand mandap , Garbha graha , gruha , Gadh mandap , Main temple , Surya dev deity , Lord Sun , Parvati devi , Saraswati devi , Agneya dev , eight digpal , Ishanya dev , Varun , Kuber , Vayavya Indra dev
Tropic of cancer , Kirk rekha , equinox day , summer solastice , 23.5 latitude.
Its a pelasant surprise and feeling proud to see that 1000 years ago also Indians are so much ahead in Science and Technologies and Architecture. Above all they combined it with Mother Nature. They know importance of SOLAR ENERGY in that ERA also.
