Angel was the best in X3. I cannot believe xmen fails him every time since. He has a great character arc to archangel and i don't know why the movies never can get it right.
The wings in X3 actually look way more realistic and better than during the cage fight. I wish they made angel have blue skin in apocalypse but they really messed up a lot during that film
i think him filing down his wings is an incredibly good way of showing how much people hurt themselves when they try to hide who they are. he is quite literally trying to erase the part that makes him different, he's a kid who lives in a world that beats you down if you're different in any way, and i think they really nailed showing how it feels in real life, albeit in a slightly more literal way (if that makes sense). in real life, queer people push down their thoughts because it's 'not normal' to be attracted to the same gender, or to feel like your body is wrong, or anything like that. people of colour sometimes even *bleach their skin* because they try to be more acceptable in general society, and so many other minorities and hated groups of people try to hide the part of them that makes them 'different', even if it doesn't really hurt anybody that they are, and in the progress hurt themselves so much more. we live in a world where, if you're 'different', you either hurt yourself to become 'normal' or other people hurt you for no reason, and i think the first scene shows how extreme it can get very well. props to the kid who was acting in that scene, you can really feel his fear.
My favorite hero: Black Panther. My favorite villain: Green Goblin. I don't know much about this character, but after seeing his scenes in the film I can confirm that: My favorite hero: Black Panther. My favorite villain: Green Goblin. My favorite character: Angel (Warren Worthington III).
i didn't read the comics but it would be fun if angel have a god power just like thor or whoever holy character. his name is angel and all he can do is fly? atleast make him capable to summon creatures from heaven or have a light energy that can blind people etc. or maybe make him have that relationship with one above all or celestials because he is an ANGEL. god, who create him without thinking all of these potential powers? such a crime 🙁
He was created a very long time ago, I think before there were celestials and certainly before the one above all. Plus summoning creatures from heaven is not a mutant power, but maybe the light powers I could see? The metal wings were like his main upgrade in the comics
The subspecies of mutant which is this human with wings doesnt have mystical power. They are just mutated. And also there is the time in the comic that he was upgraded to biometallic wings.
I can see how someone with wings as their super power can be seen as "useless", or even underestimated, but really, I do wish I could see more of him. He just looks so, ironically, angelic, and I liked him even more after apocalypse. I'm probably just biased because I'm not really into "OP" characters with *it all*, lol, but I really do like characters that have to work/fight harder to accomplish the same goals as more stronger characters
He was my favorite as a kid...I started reading the 80's Xfactor first, and Archangel was one the Xfactor guys. I loved the adamontium wings and his crazy purple outfit and blue skin. There was one issue where he fought Sabretooth, and that was some crazy shit. Gorey as F, and. A little sad. It ended on a cliff hanger, with Sabretooth throwing Angel's badly mauled and possibly dead...
I love the parallels of this next to kids/ terns that struggle with their identity or sexuality. And feel the need to hide it from their parents. Hits hard when he disappointingly says " I knew ". Like a father rejecting his son for being gay. It's a really good potrayel of how mutants just wanted to be accepted.
In the comics,Angel loses his wings because they are impaled by evil mutant hunters. So,his wings are amputated. He gets severely depressed and comics suicide by crashing a plane he flys.Hes brought back by Apocalypse and given metal wings and he's evil, but eventually he snaps out of it and becomes good again.

Instead of metal wings, it should've made his wings glow golden and make him have healing abilities like a real angel 😇
He was working with the enemy I don’t think the enemy would’ve gave him that
No what if a gold color wings that is hard as adamantium and can glow.
White ppl can’t be angels anyway💀
@@KanekiAogiri5 The enemy is an Egyptian. It would fit.
"real angel" lmao
What never made sense about angels dad not liking his mutation was it made him literally an angel, he got one of the most aesthetic mutations out there
It wasnt the mutation itself that he didn’t like it was the fact that he had one at all
If I had beautiful wings like that, I would constantly wear shining armor.
Like a knight?
@@code066funkinbird3 no, that's gay but not gay enough. I'd be like the primarch sanguinius of the blood angels legion.
@@varun009 nope i dont see a knight being gae and i dislike gae and lesbian
@@code066funkinbird3 unfathomably based. . .
He is indeed a Combat Angel, Alita is more of a Combat Robot and not an Angel.
Then imagine Alita with a wing now she an actual angel
They are all fallen angel, it's the concept not the actual power.
That's different movie
Imagine religious people seeing him fly
I always think that If I tried jumping out a window like that, the window won't break lol
Nah you'll break your face instead
you have to be a mutant first
@@corndog7813 Don't need to be a mutant to jump off a window lol.
I was kinda pissed that they made Angel the villain in Apocalypse but I have to say his villain size concept is cool and has more advantage, being his feathers are now able to stab ones flesh.
3:51 He has super metal wings but he looks at his hands.
I feel so bad for angel… if his father had loved him enough he wouldn’t have minded his amazing gift… Personally id be amazed and blessed of my own son having angel wings❤️🙏🏽
Yea, you’d think that in a heavily Christian/catholic country, people wouldn’t see this mutation as an omen or a freak. It be a different story if he had bat wings resembling that of a demon.
@@VulpinetideCuteTimes0w0 This kind of thing always bugs me in movies like this. I wont believe for a moment some of those people would be seen with such hatred and disgust from so many people. Angel for instance would be perfect poster child of some church or some kind of actor. Even Beast I think would do okay. Of course there could be exceptions like demonic looking Night Crawler or Cyclops who can't control his powers, but I think it was always silly that ALL mutants would be despised like this. Hell. Some people may be even into them. People are freaky when it comes to stuff like this and one look on the internet can make you realize just how many people would be more than okay with them existing. In short, Mutants being hated so much by everyone never really made sense to me.
@@AzraelSoulHunterI think it's because of a parasite that hates mutants or something
🤍 you #ARCHANGEL 1 Septillion times.
Ben Foster & Ben Hardy nailed it.
❤🤍💙 you #BEN FOSTER & #BEN HARDY 1 Septillion times.
💛 all your videos mate👍
Angel is extremely underrated, he needs more love
Angel was the one mutant whose powers I wanted growing up. Having wings must be so awesome.
3:15 That scene, with The Four Horsemen by Metallica, is so wild.
The X Men Last Stand
Angel is my Favorite mutant in the whole Franchise
The moment he Spread his Wings and Fly was phenomenal to the point when I watch it first time in my Childhood years
I literally Was Imagining what if I had that wonderful ability and Fly around the Cities and Mountains
Most beautiful mutant ever, tbh I say it’s a blessing ❤
amazing one 😘😘😘😘😘😘
When Apocalypse amplified their powers.
Magneto can move the whole Earth
Storm can control the atomsphere
Psylocke .......uh superbabe
Angel......you can fly
He has blade shaped wings for a more offensive approach
@@simaopinto8521 not only that, he can shoot bladed plumes and regenerate them now. he never really had any ability to shoot anything from his wings before the Apocalypse yassification.
They really played favorites huh?
@@isabelbelem9062 MAGNETO IS MOST POWERFUL! DEAL WITH IT!
Angel: * flying intensifies *
That first scene when he's trying to cut off his wings is the only scene from the movie that I vividly remember
Angel was the best in X3. I cannot believe xmen fails him every time since. He has a great character arc to archangel and i don't know why the movies never can get it right.
I want him to see in the MCU, he is one of my fave hero
Man… first seeing angel I thought he was going to be such a huge character in the mcu lol
Kudos to that kid actor
Angel can’t catch a break in the movies man
The sound when Archangel fly's is so so satisfying, that shink, shink of the feathers going over one of another is amazing.
4:15 is it Sansa??
No it's lucifer
My favorite hero: Black Panther.
My favorite villain: Green Goblin.
I don't know much about this character, but after seeing his scenes in the film I can confirm that:
My favorite hero: Black Panther.
My favorite villain: Green Goblin.
My favorite character: Angel (Warren Worthington III).
Bro just jumped out a glass window shirtless without any damage on his body
BEAUTIFUL 🤩 WARREN ACCEPTED THE THINGS HE COULD NOT CHANGE IN THATS LOVING YOU UNCONDITIONALLY ALL THE X-MEN STRUGGLED WITH THAT
goddddd Ben Hardy was such a good casting choice for this role
Great work outstanding 👏 👌
He truly become the Angel Of "Death"
Its very epic, thanks bro 👍🤟🙂
I like how he had the courage to jump out of the building right when he got his wings
That kid definitely deserved an award for that scene 💯✍🏾
I would be soooooo happy to have wings like that for real.
Chicken wings?
@@snijder6255 🤣 no funny one nice big like he had but real. Mm would be a wardrobe hassle though😁
You wouldn't be able to sit
@@lil18thletterking77 I would find a way 🤣
@@gmiller7486 plus you would have to cut awkward holes through all of your clothes, including expensive suits..you sure you want wings?
X men should have been a tv series to many characters that could have had great spin offs
i didn't read the comics but it would be fun if angel have a god power just like thor or whoever holy character. his name is angel and all he can do is fly? atleast make him capable to summon creatures from heaven or have a light energy that can blind people etc. or maybe make him have that relationship with one above all or celestials because he is an ANGEL. god, who create him without thinking all of these potential powers? such a crime 🙁
I love dis 😌😌😌😌
Wait so he had the power to heal back his wings in the first movie from where cut them off but didn't have that power in the Apocalypse movie?
It was like a day later right? I'm sure with time it would have healed. But what do I know?
That was probably a retcon.
Apocalypse is like a different dimension from the OG movies that's why he can't regrow them in Apocalypse
@@mostafamansour2495
That's a cheap excuse
@@user-wu7ew8yb3w it's the only one you can get without having a seizure trying to connect every movie to the other
I love the parallels of this next to kids/ terns that struggle with their identity or sexuality.
He gets severely depressed and comics suicide by crashing a plane he flys.Hes brought back by Apocalypse and given metal wings and he's evil, but eventually he snaps out of it and becomes good again.
amazing one its so great
I need those wings. Theyre beautiful and I'd love to fly
He was always my favorite x-man even as a child.
