You put out some of the best content I’ve ever seen on the internet. Chaz, you’re amazing and I’m thankful you’re out there putting in the hard work to make great info so readily accessible and entertaining. Thanks man.
Great video Chaz and great to see you back, I love your style of videos and how you cover the breadth of info for each species. I have a pair of golden white lips and I am in Australia where this species is very rare in captivity. For example, there is probable only 15 -20 people with these in the whole country. I got mine as 4 weeks old and yes they have definitely kicked my ass but I love them. They are now 6 months old, on adult mice and growing like weeds. Love them.
Great video Chaz, welcome back. Absolutely gorgeous example, colours pop, would be biting your hand off for that pair but have gone for a different Indo species. Had heard about the 'fur' balls, amazing that they do that.
Hey Chaz great to see you back ! As for the white lipped python great job we own 6 and our biggest female is 7foot biggest male bit longer so they do that big.
My greatest gratitude to the individuals that but the hard work in to produce healthy captive bred animals. Hats off too ya. Wicked snake and great vid.
Interesting episode which both confused and enlightened me. The reason being is note about furr ball and this being unique to this species. I have jungle carpets and from time to time I find exactly the same stuff as shown here in the enclosure. I did not pay much attention until now as I have bioactive and I thought my cleanup crew did their job so well that only hair was left from poop. But now I see it differently because I also find regular feces and these furr balls are very different and look the same everytime I find them. It is just compacted furr really. Is it in theory possible jungles (or maybe other carpets) show the same behaviour as whitelipped pythons? I have to take a picture of it next time I find one.
Yeah Chaz is back! So happy you’re back, I love your videos and missed your face. Leiopython are my favorite. I have a pair of the Southerns and am waiting for their eggs to hatch, very excited!! Thanks for another awesome video! 🍻
A bit of a shame Schleip used the name fredparkeri before meridionalis, the latter suited the Southern species much nicer. Also question, what do you think of providing them with a larger water bowl than usual for your typical tropical pythons? Natusch who has observed many wild invididuals claim they behave similarly to fuscus and are basically semi-aquatic and I've heard mentions of some keepers of them adopting that behavior in captivity when allowed. Cheers
I'll be receiving a canadian CB southern white lipped python soon. Great video. Can't wait for mine to arrive ! Going to make sure the tub it set up perfect
Regarding your comment on deep heat projectors, would a radiant heat panel be better? I like them because they are more discreet and you dont have a large CHE in a cage spoiling a naturalistic viv, plus they get sooo hot.
Great video Chaz... I'd thought I'd let you know that my Bismarck also chucks up fur balls .. don't know if it's documented anywhere or if any other keepers have experienced it
I got dis one.. Wild and now docile import used to be awkward musty and defensive.. Now a relative pussy Cat.. Rats Chicks.. Sheds well and often. Changed the whole lighting and set up now 🙏🐍Thanks for another ripper!
