- ET was on the 1988 set of 'Beetlejuice,' where the cast was busy filming the iconic 'Banana Song' dance scene. In behind-the-scenes interviews, Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis do their best to describe the comedy's bizarre plot. Ryder compares her character, Lydia, to people who are 'really dramatic' and 'sigh' constantly, explaining that the now-iconic teenage character is 'like that all the time.' ET also sat down with Michael Keaton, who broke down the makeup process that was required to transform into the 'bio-exorcist.' Keaton will join Ryder and franchise newcomer Jenna Ortega in a Tim Burton-directed sequel.

Amazing amazing movie one of my all time favorites i still watch it from time to time. The acting is great, the story is fantastic, the characters are not forgettable, even the small ones pull their weight and Michael Keaton is fantastic. I only hope they bring back Jeffrey Jones for the second one. Ah fuck it bring em all back Alec, Geena, Chatrine, Michael, Vinona, Jeffrey. and R.I.P Glenn.

I hope to see Alec and Genna returning in Bettlejuice 2, but I have heard that Catherine, Winona, and Michael are all returning in the sequel with Jenna Ortega playing Lydia’s daughter.
I also think and hope that Tim Burton should bring Johnny Depp in the sequel (but keep it as a surprise), and maybe his ex-fiancé Helena Bonham Carter if she wants to (also keep it as a surprise)
i dont think the maitlands are gonna be in it, maybe mentioned or have an easter egg but theyre ghosts they dont age
