Mine came with the caps and that foam liner. Surprised you didn’t have them in the box.

I ended up finding the foam liner a little later. And the Tesla logo center wheel caps came in the mail later luckily, so I'm all set now!
What’s your take on the quality of these when compared to the OEM Tesla Tempest wheel covers? Are they close or do the arachnid ones feel cheaper?
@@RyanC1384 the quality definitely doesn’t feel cheap which is nice. And they secure extremely well, maybe more so than the tempest, which seem easier to remove. Biggest difference is, these are fully matte whereas the tempest have some gloss on it which does look nice.
But as far as just quality, they’re definitely comparable

I’m about to take delivery and I’m getting cold feet about not getting the Plaid. Do you have any regrets from going Long Range instead of Plaid?
Congrats on your new car! So personally, I guess it depends on what you’re mostly interested in. As far as looks, the only difference is the spoiler and carbon fiber trim, which both can be done easily after market. The plaid speed in instance, but the long range is definitely no slouch at all. It’s actually as fast as the performance model 3 when it comes to 0-60. So you’ll already be faster than 90% of the cars out there. And then of course the additional range you get. Either way you can’t go wrong
How does this 100k car have hubcaps? Been looking at buying one recently and its just amazing to me
The “hub caps” are optional and they’re for aerodynamic efficiency, nothing with aesthetics. You’ll find this with Most EVs, even teslas have the option to upgrade to other RIMs that don’t come with aero caps but you will see a big range drop.
What do you think about adding the spoiler?
I considered it for a while! Ended up getting one, keep an eye out for a video

You could lose 3% just in how your driving it i feel like a real test would be the sane road same day and hopefully the same temp than test it for a whole charge cycle if its still only 3% its probably bot actually doing much
I drove the same road on the same day back to back, and tried to keep the speeds identical. Again it wasn’t scientific and it’s definitely within margin of error. Maybe in the future I’ll do a similar drive multiple times with each set up, or if I get newer covers one day. But it was close enough in this one test to give me a general idea
