This was voted by my Moonies on Patreon! This was a difficult thing to translate at first, but I kept reading it over and over. I wanted to convey how much this song is for Eri, which is clear in the visuals. She's gone through so much and just wishes for a hero to save her. Like a lost sailor, she takes a voyage to find the light that she so desperately needs and to give faith in those that are willing to sacrifice everything just for her. If someone is able to reach out, Eri will find that strength to reach back. Perhaps, she can finally find a place that she can truly feel at home. I’m so glad this innocent little child was saved by both Midoriya and Mirio.
Eri marks as the second kid that Deku saved from the big villain. Kota is the first one to be saved by Deku from Muscular.

The way this starts feels so fitting... those chords make this all feel like a distorted, warped fairy tale given how Eri’s life was happy before her power came and she was thrown into a life of pain and sorrow. But like every good fairy tale, there is a light at the end, a happy ending that she can achieve, and it’s her two heroes Deku and Lemillion who help pull her out of that dark hole into a light of joy and love DESPITE the hard parts. So... poetic.
YOu're aware those Fairy Tales were NOT meant to be happy originally? They were cautionary tales for parents to read to their children.

Before I watched MHA, (no judging me for this) but I used to watch gacha and people made me believe Eri was an a hole or a brat. I didn't like this song that much when I first watched Season 3. The chords felt eerie and dissonant, not to mention that the images were super depressing. But the song grew on me and it took me a while to realize this but the eeriness and dissonance were probably intentional considering Eri's life.
I am just glad the little girl's endless voyage in the dark stormy sea has ended safely.
speaking of which....the last scene of the s3 opening sequence is hella symbolic
