Actual fans of the show both know what I mean, and cried alongside every single character

The final role call........it made me cry for about 10mil years......and when koro sensei died and the students started crying, when I saw karma crying that broke me into millions of tears cuz normally karma doesn’t really care about koro sensei....but to see him care made me so sad

Assassination classroom almost tricked me into wanting to be a teacher as a kid. Maybe if I was an ultra powerful squid man then I'd give it a try.
Edit: I am now pursuing teaching abroad as a career. Looks like they got me after all.
Edit 2. Currently I am working as an early literacy tutor to save up money to move to Spain to teach English.
Edit 3. I leave in about a month. I don't know what the future holds for me. But I'd like to do something that matters with it. I hope you will do the same.
Edit 4. Its been four years since I made the original comment and god i feel old. Anyway I'm currently living in a shitty flat in Spain working as a language assistant. The pay is ass and the commute is a pain but I've been enjoying it. I'm planning on getting my TEFL certification so I can get a job that actually pays.

It acually GOTTEN me to become a Teacher. And awrey day when i look at my Students i smile and think "I will make you proud Koro-Sensei" I try to be the best Teacher i can and try to be like Koro-Sensei. I leaned all i can about my Students and am tehre whenever they Need me!

It’s strange for me thinking back on this. First time I saw AssClass anywhere, I thought it would be a typical weird anime about a goofy-looking creature. Took me a while to actually sit down and watch it (even so, I think I saw an abridged of it first).
Now, years after it has ended, this odd-sounding anime has given me motivation in life where I had none before. People often used to tell me half-jokingly that I should become a history teacher considering the enthusiasm with which I talked about the subject, and I never took them seriously. Now, I’m on my way to become one, and that’s in no small part because of Koro-sensei. I may not be a superhuman ex-assassin who can fly at mach 20, fire laser beams, and regenerate lost limbs, but his desire to help these kids be the best they can be has inspired me to no end, and if I become even half the teacher he was I will be content.
Thank you, Koro sensei, and class E. From the bottom of my heart.

I'm the same way this anime inspired me to teach English. I hope it did the same for many more people. Thank you koro-Sensei! it sounds silly, but this anime taught me how it felt to be a teacher. "We admire the most the ones that change our lives." I want to create in my students the same positive change koro-Sensei did.

Best and worst song. If you’ve finished the series then you know the feeling I’m talking about right now. That feel of nostalgia and enjoying this while being pushed to the verge of pure sadness as the emotion overwhelms you. I’m having to crush my feelings down and force them out so to speak.

I'm so mad that I missed you posting this to UA-cam, I didn't miss it on Spotify I can definitely tell you that. Even then, I was in tears while dancing. Now that I see an actual video to it, I can't help but relive the time when I was watching this anime and my best friend who reccomended it to me had to move to a different state. This song and Bye Bye Yesterday will make me cry no matter what because I will always connect it to a beautiful anime and a beautiful friendship.

Near the end of the anime me and my brother were literally cryinggggg. I was pretty sad that me and him finished watching this anime. I was sad for weeks.

I've been a teacher for roughly five years now. My fifth year of teaching was smack right in the middle of the pandemic. Context: our program is better appreciated through the socratic method but because of the challenges of online learning, some teachers just turned to pure lectures. However, I tried my best to engage them beyond the usual spoonfeeding. My students probably hated me to pushing them harder. rofl
Then I saw Assassination Classroom for the first time. I felt that maybe if they can't appreciate my methods now, maybe they'll change their minds when they join me in the profession. A teacher never gives up on his students and just like Koro-sensei, I await that bittersweet moment when my students will finally "defeat" me. Even then, I'd count that as a win.

Ok...this show brings back memories for me...when I was starting my Sophomore year (last year) I couldn’t find any of my friends for a whole week. Every year my school has had an anime, I made it. There was a new teacher and I didn’t trust her yet (she is awesome and one of the few people I feel actually genuinely want me in their classroom). Sorry for the mini-tangent. Anyway, I stayed there, in the classroom, nobody would talk to me since it was the firs anime club of the year and everyone was shy. It was just when my best friend at the time popped in to see if it was the room for anime club when this show started playing. Both of us loved the show and he stayed with me the entire time.
Unfortunately, he and I have drifted apart, but this anime always makes me think of him. All those happy memories flood back to me like a tidal wave of bittersweet nostalgia.
I don't why I am crying, because of this cover, or because of the anime...
