@Embee1060 going out at that speed will boost his running economy and also give him a confidence boost both mentally and physically because he will have already started a race at that pace and next time he races an 800 he’ll know that feeling.

@landryhill-l3e thanks man! It really depends on the course. If it’s gravel/rocks/ road definitely go vaporfly. But if it’s grass go spikes

Probably Saturdays. That's what my teams does, and the other runners I follow on strava.
I usually do workouts tuesdays/Thursday and LR Saturday

Right now I eat about 4000 calories a day and have 150-175 G protein
opening in 27/56 just to run 1:59.4 😭
