That little story about Chobani sending him a check was really amazing. I don't even like yogurt but I want to buy their yogurt now, purely because of their sweet customer service, they really care.
+xXNoOneImportantXx actually it was just pretty good PR (aka PR 1.0.1.), if you think about it they paid an ad which hits 150 000 views for about 2$, and maybe 10 000 people (pretty conservative number) will care about and go buy their yogurt, which is an exceptional return on investment.
Generally if you just say "hey I'm hungry" to a food company and you have an influence over more than 100 people, they'll give you a meal gladly, you'll be happy, and they will be more, because they got maybe 40 good customers, which will maybe buy their stuff once a month to once a year, but it'll be worth a lot for them, especially if those 40 are happy too, they may talk about the story to their friends, and in the end, the brand have made a 10$ ad that gave them maybe 200 new customers that buy a total of maybe more than 1000 units of their product.

Gotta admit. That's some kick ass customer service from Chobani. They HAD to know you were on some trolly shit for that, but still went with it. I mean really, who the hell complains about a single cup, attempts to send a voucher, can't send a voucer, so they send a CHECK, which requires postage, just so you can buy a single cup of yogurt. Good shit. Color me impressed.

I had one demanding the costs for a taxi from his house to the exact grocery store added to a new bottle of sauce, because his didn't plop the vacuum seal. And supervisor okay'd it. Tbh, the phone rings all day, with people having real or insane issues regarding products. And most of the calls are single piece customers.
