This is so amazing. I love the authenticity. We are ALL Waiting for you to get members and do the real quests. The amount of tomfoolery you have with these 5 minute quests is hilarious.
Your Goblin Diplomacy and playthrough as a whole is a great reminder that we all have been there at the beginning of our journey. And that is why playthroughs like this one are so successful on YT - we miss the good days of exploring the world of RuneScape for the first time, no matter how tedious and frustrating it in reality was.
Hi there, it’s me again. I can really understand how frustrating this has been for you, and I want you to know that your efforts and the dedication you put into creating these videos mean a lot to us. If you feel a break would be helpful for your mental health, please know we completely understand and support you-most of us have been in that place ourselves. Personally, I’ve really enjoyed watching your playthrough, even with the unique pace, though I can see how it may not resonate the same for everyone, especially when it’s the primary focus. Please remember, the community is here for you and will support whatever you need to take care of yourself. :) PS sorry for the essay again :P
That is quite humbling to read. Thank you. I've certainly learned a lot about pacing oneself when you're entirely self directed. I feel pretty on top of it right now so don't worry, I'm ok. Also, you want to talk about frustrating, Plok was a whole other level, this game scarcely rates in comparison. I know the format is pretty slow and unpopular but my goal with the channel is to show the game and my experience with it as candidly as possible. That's just what I like and it's what I want to make. I'm not opposed to trying some different things out (and possibly have something along those lines in the works) but that is ultimately what I want to focus on.
I said it before and I’ll say it again - watching you play the game and hate all the things I used to hate the game for is so refreshing. I’ll also say that it does get better (maybe that’s the Stockholm syndrome talking) so I hope you stick through it enough to get there
Keep going dude! General questing rules: 1)talk to every npc and 2)absolutely scower every inch of the area and 3)read your quest journal. Three very important questing lessons moving forward, because if you think that was difficult, you are in for it. I love the content but you have to be enjoying the game also. Breaks are authorized! Even top osrs players take months-long-breaks.
I thought I looked around pretty thoroughly but I guess not. LP tax is real. Groaning aside I have been enjoying the game more than anticipated. This is a topic better covered in a video, though.
I was impressed you assumed that the first amour you dyed wouldn't be enough and you thought you'd need a second, i remember being so shocked the dyed amour i brought didn't finish the quest. Also iirc the colour of dye you need is different for each account
You can turn off the roofs of homes permanently, it will help with finding things in the future instead of mousing over them. Also I recommend trying to do that corsair curse quest, it'll allow you access to one of the best f2p money making methods especially for irons :)
Generational will be: - One small favor - Recipe for diaster - Underground Pass - Darkness in Hallowvale - Myreque quest line - Every grandmaster quest This will culminate in some of the best OSRS content
So the Evil Bob event and some of those other things that have randomly appeared are called Random Events, they were originally mandatory and were at the time years ago a form of Anti-Botting countermeasures. And I personally would recommend you at least try to do some skilling, some of your general frustrations seem to be because it seems like you think you can get everything for quests without touching any skilling, and while this is true sometimes or for some items; stuff like the Goblin Mail was originally only available through trading with other players or by getting it through drops like the beads for Imp catcher. This also ties into your "Money" problem especially in Free to Play, there are very very limited ways to make money without doing any skilling content on an Ironman as you have experienced. I don't know if you have attempted it or if your friend group told you about it, but Runescape is a great "Second" monitor game where you can be doing something like watching video content on one monitor and then Playing Runescape on the second monitor; For myself and I think a decent part of the playerbase it is why we like the game as much as we do.
you think this is tedious? you will most certainly never get there or try them but there are some later quests where guides online that shows you how to do everything correctly the first time are 4 hours long, doing these quests blind with no guide could legit take days. this game is for masochists. this is coming from a dude who got 99 mining in one of the slowest ways possible it took over 300 hours lol
so glad the mugger made an appearance

Doing the goblin diplomacy quest has me partly hoping to see you somehow someday doing the members quest "one small favor" in a sort of sadistic way.

"Look at this nice animated cape! What an achievement... I feel nothing"
I'm glad you tried killing goblins for armor, nice to see some xp drops on the account lol
You hunting for brown dye was very amusing
Glad you found it amusing because I didn't.
@deadyawn72 happens to everyone lol love the series though keep it up!

Love your content, its refreshing seeing the game in the eye of a new player, and you reading the lines is amazing

the rival mugger b plot always makes me smile lol
It's like he's reading the words but, they never make it into his brain LMAO 😂

Can't wait for him to try Dragon Slayer

@ not to bash but you also missed going up the ladder in Goblin village. If you watch your footage back you can see more crates on the wooden archway.
There’s a couple other people brand new to the game that are making vids. You’re my fav 😘
That Reldo thinks he's such a wise guy

I heard Sea Shanty 2 so I smashed the like button.
me trying not to get pissed watching this man struggle with this quest xd

okay the quest may not be good but it is a funny quest, the dialog is great XD
I wish I had been less mad so I could appreciate it.
No one tell him about the crate behind the goblin generals or the one up the ladder, both of which have armor in them XD

If you had to make a rough guess, how long do you think that would take me to do, considering my current pace. Just curious.
@@deadyawn72 your hair will be looking like your character's
@@deadyawn72 about 1 year would be a good guess. You're not using guides or the dumb quest hleper plugin so it's a much more authentic experience

Guy is making meters!
The other crates were up on the bridge-gate thing
btwm are you aware that you can turn roofs off? helps a lot in a top-down game
