Thank you for the video! I can clearly hear the difference beetwen the usa Remo and the Encore. The usa heads are more open and resonant, while the Encore are more controlled and they sound less in comparison with the usa head. For the price range I think the encore are good
The sustain is the same for both heads but to my ears the Remo USA produces a brighter, cleaner, and more open and resonant sound; the Encore is darker and muddy in comparison to the USA head.
He was trying to tune one drum with two heads always as close as possible to get the best possible results in video where you compare two different skins, not two different sounds.. Doesn't that seem logical? More practical, faster and more exact?
As a american latin (South America) consumer, many times we can´t afford buying Remo, so we choose the Encore heads. Wich still sound good

i put a pinstripe clear encore on my bassdrum , she sound very good! nice price too!
Encore les sustain, but better for me. No good and bad, there is different head.
What's that alien sound?
you basically took the remo and put on a different logo
Cheater.the same pinstripes wtf 😠 don’t mess with Remos anymore
Encores is the cheaper line of Remo, you mor0n@@ralphbenites1819
Thank you for this video!!
lots of digital noise
no difference... Maybe in durability but on the sound, nothing...
There's a little bit of difference, but I just can't say that one of them is better than the other one...
Encore sounds a little bit more muffled.
Trust me there's a difference, the encore has an annoying flicking flutter sound after.
If you are using triggers and samples without overheads and room mics no matter what kind of heads you are using
Encores last longer without dents. Pinstripes can get dents in 20 minutes, but they still last way longer without cracks
People that think those heads sound the same are the ones Encore heads are for
Bingo!😆👍
Or a guy like me that knows that i don´t sound better because of more expensive hardware ;)
Either way it's a great sounding tom.
the sound is the same, the problem is the feeling/rebound....
And durability of course
They don't sound the same at all
Encore is still Remo I think. Just discontinued.
Thank God it’s discontinued
@@1mikeburns lol why.
A diferença é justamente a metade da ressonância e preço
Thank you !
You really needed a drum dial to get that tuning??

THE FIRST ONE SOUND BETTER
I'm wrong to buy them. Can I use them as resonants?
No.
Yes
not on the snare drum. but on toms you can for thick sound.
No, unless you hit REALLY hard, you'll never get them going

son iguales

son mas delgados aparte del dato q aportas, estimo un 20 % de diferencia en calidad de audio, mínimo, obvio mejor remo USA
Encore sounds way worse. It is flat sounding at the beginning with unpleasant attack. Remo sounds deeper and clearer.
Pretty much the same.
Poong!!
Diferença é bem pouca.
As 2 peles são hidráulicas ???
Não. São clear. Hidraulic é somente um modelo de Evans.
Encore...Less sustain and durability
no
They are half the price and I doubt that they only last half as long.
My remo encore still holds up since 2013...will replace it with another encore when time comes.
Remo suena mejor
Che suono pessimo
