Looks like your 7240 will be in need of new rear tires soon. When I was a growing up as a kid near you we had thousands of those little frogs from my Grandparents lake
So, fill in last year's drains, two passes of chisel plow and one pass of sweeps to dry it out, two passes of discs and land planes to break it up and smooth it out, trenching to flood faster, flood, fly in seed, grow grow grow, drain and dry, harvest, something to facilitate getting rid of the straw, rinse, repeat. Seems like a heck of a lot of dirt work. Is all rice growing this resource intensive?
Matt, I love your channel, but when you unhook that ridging disc in a few minutes, I feel like a klutz. It just took me an hour to unhook the tiller from the back of my little Kubota. And the PTO was NOT the hangup. Might convince me to spring for one of those newfangled attachment systems for the 3 point. Problem is, I am too CHEAP!
@@Ricefarmingtv Ahh yeah, that properbly makes more sense. 🤦♂️ Sorry though, apreciate your time giving me an answer. 😖😂 So i just want to wish you the best luck with this Rice season.👍 -Ben

Yes a lot of passes are needed. The profits are bigger than the expenses though.

Why does he make them sound like they have great trubbles with starting?
Ben, because they’re old girls. They start hard or need the fuel pump to run a bit. But I’m no mechanic-there’s probably a technical answer.
